The Young And The Restless – Dramatic Changes This Week

This week we have lost another iconic actress, this time from The Young and the Restless. Two roles were recast in out casting news and one actor took a trip to the hospital, but why? This is just a few things going on this week.

The Young And The Restless Star Jennifer Leak has passed away. Fans will remember Jennifer as Gwen Sherman. Sherman was a character who was on during the 70s. She had been diagnosed with progressive supranuclear palsy, a rare neurological disease, seven years ago. Leak was 76.

The Young And The Restless – Harrison Abbott Recast

Fans learned that Harrison Abbott had been recast as fan favorite, Kellen Enriquez was replaced by Redding Munsell.

Of course, Harrison’s appearance have fans wondering if Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) could be rekindling their relationship.

The Bold And The Beautiful’s – Matthew Atkinson Exits

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) made his dramatic exit this week with his son Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).

Of course, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) had a
great deal to do with this exit as she almost pushed Thomas to board the plane to Paris.

General Hospital Spoilers – A New Romance For Carly Spencer?

Laura Wright suggests a possible new romance with Brennan (Charles Mesure) and Carly Spencer. Of course, Carly may rethink this when she figures out the Brennan is in bed, so to speak, with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).

There is always that fact that these two are out to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and will soon be trying to go after Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) as well.

Days of Our Lives’ Alison Sweeney and Victor Webster will star in a new Hallmar movie. One Bad Apple: A Hannah Swensen Mystery. The movie will air on April 5 on Hallmark Movies and Mysteries at 9pm ET.

In other Days Of Our Lives News

Days is bringing on a new Tate Black this week. The role has been played by Jamie Martin Mann since he returned last year. However, beginning April 4th, Leo Howard. Will take over the role.

General Hospital is adding two new actors this week as well. Kody Kavitha will make her debut as Hunter, the new manager at Bobbie’s while Virginia Ma, joins the cast as Nina’s new assistant, Madison.

Finally, Tammin Sursok, who played Colleen Carlton in the late 2000s was sent to the Emergency room for a concussion after falling off the bed and hitting her head. Tammin wrote about the experience:

“Things I’ve learnt in the last two days,” she wrote. “1- Concussions can happen doing the stupidest things. And when it happens you might have to show or tell the doctor what you were doing. And it could be the most embarrassing moment of your life. 2- Concussions can happen 24 hours after you do that stupid thing, so watch for symptoms. 3- CT scans are weirdly soothing and when pumped with anti nausea medication can make you nap. 4- When you have small kids the ER is like a mini vacation. 5- Neck braces are good to sleep upright so maybe I’ll take one home for the plane. Thanks for all the well wishes. feeling slightly better. Just a bruised brain and ego. And the scan showed I did have a brain. So that’s good.”
