The Young and the Restless Day Ahead Spoilers for Friday, November 16: Nick’s Shocking Move, Rosales Family Meltdowns And Cheating Scandal

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins as Billy (Jason Thompson) jokes that he Rosales family will fit right in in Genoa City. Sharon (Sharon Case) storms off as Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) wonder what that was all about. Summer (Hunter King) stops Kyle (Michael Mealor) from looking for Lola (Sasha Calle) as she is sure she’s busy catering; Kyle reminds her that she is the owner of the company.

Y&R Spoilers – Abby Wants Answers

Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) doesn’t want to stay quiet, in spite of what Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Arturo (Jason Canela) demand. Abby (Melissa Ordway) wants to know from Arturo if Mia is telling the truth, realizing that Rey doesn’t get along with Arturo because he slept with his wife!

Billy and Jack (Peter Bergman) sit at the bar, talking about their respective “dates.” Billy tells Jack that he wants credit for Jaboutiques, standing up asking Jack to help him make it right. Meanwhile, Abby blasts Lola who wants the fighting to end, but Abby doesn’t even consider her a friend any more. Arturo chases after Abby as Rey looks at Sharon; Mia wants to know why Sharon being upset bothers him.

Rey goes to see Sharon and Lola returns to the kitchen after she spots Kyle with Summer. Sharon admits she never imagined this was what happened and completely understands why he hesitated reconciling with Mia. She offers a shoulder, but only he knows what is right for him and in her case Phyllis has always had a hold on Nick and she couldn’t live that way.

When Sharon asks if he is going to be okay, Mia suggests Rey should be talking to his wife, not Sharon. Rey tells Mia she has a lot of nerve and they will talk, but not there.

Kyle drags Summer out of the room, reminding her that he is with Lola. When she tells him he has options – he points out an honest, loving relationship with Lola or a sick, manipulative one with Summer. He orders her to stop when she says deep down she never stopped caring about him, but he feels this only happened the second he met Lola; she tries to convince him otherwise and he only turned to Lola because she is the exact opposite of Summer. She grabs Kyle and kisses him, telling him to stop fighting it.

Kyle pulls away, saying he meant every word he said and the next time she wants to pour her heart out; call her shrink. The only thing she is right about is that Lola is everything Summer isn’t and that is why he is with her. She says that he kissed her back, but he tells her it was an old habit that just died and walks away.

Billy finds the reporter who was just speaking to Phyllis, suggesting he has more information about Jaboutiques. Jack watches as Phyllis schmoozes with the crowd. He stops her and they talk about Devon (Bryton James) and Kerry (Alice Hunter); both feel she is up to the challenge at Jabot.

Jack Abbott Distracts Phyllis

Phyllis doesn’t see Jack and Kerry as a very good fit, but he reminds her that her and Nick weren’t a good fit at one time either. She suddenly realizes that Jack is trying to distract her and Jack admits that he doesn’t blame Billy for deserving some credit for Jaboutiques and she knows it.

Kyle tries to stop Lola to talk, who reveals she saw him dancing with Summer. He reminds her this is a game to Summer but Lola wants no part of it, telling him how Mia played games with both her brothers for years and in the end someone always gets hurt and it won’t be hurt. Kyle promises he’d never hurt her but she bites back saying that is exactly what Mia told Rey.

At home Rey confronts Mia who made the party all about her; after tonight he has to wonder if she still wants Arturo. Meanwhile, Arturo begs Abby to open the door to him, but she lays on the couch in tears, ignoring him. He returns to the party talking to Lola asking her to make Abby listen to him. He tells her to give him her apron and he will take everything if she will go talk to Abby for him.

Phyllis joins Billy with the reporter, more than happy to share all of his accomplishments while he was CEO. Jack watches from the sidelines as Phyllis gives him the credit for coming up the idea. She thanks Billy for the vision that she was able to make the reality.

Once the reporter leaves, Billy wants to know what that was about and she admits that he deserves to be recognized, reminding him to enjoy his moment of glory as it might be a long time before he gets another one.

Jack learns from Kyle that Lola left the party, surprised they are having troubles because of Summer; even more surprised that Summer was at the party. Kyle admits he is completely over Summer and there is something about Lola because when he met her, he knew what was missing in his life.

Abby lets Lola in, revealing that Mia is a bitch and can’t see what either of her brothers saw in her. Abby talks about how her and Arturo started out but Lola says she blames Mia far more than she blames Arturo and before she can tell her the whole story, she came on Arturo’s behalf. Lola reveals that Arturo was Mia’s first love, not Rey.

Rey admits to Mia that their separation has been a huge relief for him. Rey says when he first saw her, he thought she was the one; him and Arturo had their problems but he wasn’t supposed to fall in love with his brother’s girlfriend. It was Arturo who told him that Mia loved Rey and he thought it was a dream come true; but it turned into a nightmare.

Abby doesn’t understand how both the Rosales brothers can fall for Mia. Lola feels that Summer is the same type of person Mia is and that is why she needs to break it off with Kyle. Abby says she can’t come and plead Arturo’s case and then end things with Kyle because of Summer.

Mia shows Rey their wedding photo, saying she doesn’t go anywhere without it. Rey asks if she brought it with her to Arturo’s place when they hooked up and she smashes it on his desk, ordering him to stop it. She made a mistake, wanting to work things out. She can’t undo it and Rey shouts back that she can’t.

Mia sits down, saying Rey is the one who left Miami, settled in there and cozied up to his landlord. She climbs on his lap, saying this only has to do with them and she will prove how much she wants him.

Jack runs into Devon, saying he isn’t judging him because he misses Hilary too. Devon says he is mistaken and doing fine, but Jack tells him if he needs to talk he will always be around. Sharon tells Nick it is a nice party and him and Phyllis make quite the team. Nick says it was a good business move, but she believes it will help the image they are trying to project.

Nick voices his concern about Sharon getting caught up in the Rosales cheating scandal; she scoffs that he could say that without a trace of irony. She doesn’t need him worrying about her and who she dates is none of his business. Billy comes up from behind her, wishing Nick and good night as she leaves with Billy. Both Phyllis and Nick are happy to see them leave as she admits she did the right thing for Billy!

Kyle catches Lola when she returns to GCAC, asking her for 5 minutes. He tells her that Summer means nothing to him and tonight, with her apron, hair pulled back and grease spot on her face; she is the only woman he wanted to be with. He puts on some music, saying Devon is a family friend and a sucker for romance as there is one more dance that needed to happen and gave him access to the sound system. Lola says she is no one’s second choice; Kyle tells her she is his first choice and only choice, asking her to let him prove it and the two slow dance and kiss on the dance floor.

Devon lays in bed, touching a picture of Hilary, then turns over and cries on her side of the bed. Abby meets Arturo at Crimson Lights, questioning him about Mia. He admits he didn’t tell her because he was ashamed and embarrassed, wishing Mia never came to GC. He tells Abby she is the only woman he..

Upstairs, Rey stops Mia saying they are not going to have sex until they figure out what they want. He shows her their photo, saying that was a man who was in love and he felt that every day until he found out about her and Arturo. When she decided to go public about the affair, he wants to know if it was a message that her and Rey were back together, or was she reminding Arturo of how good it was between the two of them. When she calls him insecure, he tells her to sleep in the bedroom and he will take the couch.

Billy brings Sharon home, both agreeing they make a nice couple; they almost kiss but stop saying “not quite that nice.” Sharon says she had a nice time but they decided to make a point to make Nick and Phyllis jealous. She isn’t into revenge sex and she wants something more out of a relationship and she believes he does too. He thanks her for stopping him from making another stupid mistake.

Y&R Spoilers – Nick’s Shocking Move

Nick and Phyllis find only Kyle and Lola dancing asking if they can join them; Kyle and Lola decide to leave but not before Phyllis calls Lola a “Rockstar!” Nick asks Phyllis to move in with him.
