The Young and the Restless Day Ahead Spoilers for Thursday, November 8: Police Invade Chancellor Park, Sharon And Phyllis At War

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) begins with Mariah (Camryn Grimes) reporting from Chancellor Park, that a forensics team is scoping the area and she will remain on scene for any information they will give her.

Forensic Team Searches Chancellor Park

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) takes a break from her work at Jabot and messages Victoria (Amelia Heinle), who is with her mother, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) at the park. Nikki doesn’t know anything other than the police are digging around; Victoria reveals both Phyllis and Sharon (Sharon Case) know that the police found JT’s (Thad Luckinbill) watch and who knows what else.

Lola (Sasha Calle) arrives at Jabot, bringing lunch for everyone at the office; sharing with Kyle (Michael Mealor) that this is how she will make her dreams come true. He thinks lunch delivery will be a huge hit around there.

Phyllis reads the latest as Victoria tells her to stay at work since Jabot can’t run itself. Sharon goes to the GCPD, where she calls someone, but quickly hangs up when she thinks a woman in handcuffs is Nikki; she feels like she is losing her mind.

Cover-up Crew Begins Panicking

Victoria explains the story of Arturo (Jason Canela) finding the watch while him and his crew were fixing the pipe and somehow it ended up in Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) hands. Rey brought Mackenzie (Kelly Kruger) in for questioning when he saw the inscription on it and realized it was JT’s. Victoria advised her mom to hold it together and there is nothing they can do. Nikki feels as they owner of the park she needs to stay, promising to inform Victoria about anything she finds out.

Mariah catches Nikki alone and tries to interview her but she claims to be in the dark like everyone else. Mariah asks Rey if there is an update on what is happening. He tells Mariah he has “No Comment” and when he knows more, he will tell her. He notices Nikki going to her car and follows her, saying he needs a word.

Rey Questions Nikki About The Park

Rey wants to know who are the park’s landscapers and who made the sculpture. She wants to know what he is looking for and she might be able to narrow things down for him, he plays coy and wants the information as soon as possible.

Phyllis finds Kyle at Ted’s desk, ordering him to get the job done right away; just as she is about to go into her office, Lola reappears and congratulates her on the her big promotion, giving her a sandwich to try. Kyle texts Lola, thanking her for the sandwich and Phyllis catches him demanding he gets back to work!

Nikki calls Sharon revealing everything Rey wants from her, but Sharon tells her to look at the bigger picture as long as there is no body, there is no murder and there is no evidence pointing towards them. Nikki tells Sharon she is friends with the lead investigator and she needs to get information from Rey.

Meanwhile, Phyllis walks into Crimson and Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) gives her attitude about being there. Nick (Joshua Morrow) comes in and doesn’t feel shy, at all about being seen with Phyllis after spending the night together. Phyllis reveals that Billy (Jason Thompson) and Summer (Hunter King) also know they slept together; both admitting it was fun and Nick asks Phyllis to hang out. She taunts him about being seen together in public, it will make people talk; Phyllis isn’t so sure about being Nick’s “rebound girl.”

Kyle and Lola meet up at the coffee house before going to the movies, he tells her about all the ravings over her sandwiches. Kyle tries to impress Lola when it comes to work, but she tells him she already likes him, so he can stop that; he isn’t used to people like her. She asks him to be real and he is, explaining about the big project he got is only because Summer put in a good word with his boss. Lola seems okay with it after the conversation she overheard at the GCAC.

Mariah Noses Around For JT Info

Mariah visits Sharon to see if she needs her to hang out with Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind), but Sharon catches on that Mariah might be there to get the latest scoop. Rey interrupts them, feeling Mariah is following him. He once again tells Mariah it is too early to make any statements, Sharon follows him into the office, saying she is just as intrigued as everyone else, especially after seeing Mac yesterday. Rey says this thing in the park could be a significant clue to JT’s disappearance and if there is something to be found, this CSI team will find it.

Phyllis And Nick Get Closer

Phyllis tells Nick it is good to be clear about what they are and aren’t. Nick is certain what they have is not revenge sex and doesn’t want to get back at Sharon even a little bit. He just enjoys going back to Phyllis over and over; Phyllis admits she got a kick out of telling Billy after what he did. Nick wants to know what he did, but Phyllis remains mum, saying it wasn’t important and all Nick needs to know is that she will always have his back.

Sharon rushes in, asking where Nick thinks it’s okay to bring Phyllis to her place of business. Phyllis reminds Sharon they all have dirt under their fingernails. Mariah tries to stop Sharon from making the situation worse when Rey walks in, witnessing Sharon berating Phyllis; hoping she one day falls in love only for her heart to be ripped out when another woman steals her man.

Sharon Freaks On Phick

Phyllis stands up and Nick grabs her wrist. Rey stands by Sharon’s side and tells Nick there is nothing left to be said. Once Nick and Phyllis leave, Rey gives Sharon credit for handling it, asking if she is okay and takes her with him.

Mariah tells Tessa it wasn’t her fault that she couldn’t get Nick and Phyllis to leave. Esther (Kate Linder) praises Mariah for her work on GC Buzz today, suggesting Mariah interviews her about her life and times with Mrs. C, feeling Katherine should get all the honor and respect she deserves; Mariah promises to think about it.

Kyle and Lola walk in, wanting to know what happened between Nick, Phyllis, Sharon and Rey. After they explain what happened, Kyle produces some of Lola’s menus; she is happy to explain the expansion of her brand. Tessa offers to help her, even though there will be many hours.

Rey Comforts Sharon

Up at Rey’s place, Sharon apologizes for her actions and hates how they get under her skin. She needs to walk away from it, but doesn’t know how. She wants to live her own life and be happy, not wanting to feel guilty for doing what she wants. Rey tells her to let go of her old dreams and make room for new people and new things.

Nick feels being at Crimson was a little too close to home. Phyllis reminds him that Sharon ended it, and she can’t have it both ways; Nick needs to cut her loose which is what she wants. Rey talks to Sharon about relationships and the work it takes to make it work. He tells her she needs a partner who gives 100%, respects her and brings out the best in her; she deserves nothing less. She enjoys being with him and talking to him like this. Rey walks away before they could kiss, he says they are fine but Sharon wonders if they are. Rey takes off when he gets a call, saying it’s a break in the case.

Lola tells Kyle that he owes her a movie as they are leaving Crimson. Kyle firmly believes in her business plans and says he can help her financially, as well as family and friends who would invest in her too. She worries about the “what ifs” and money changes everything. He asks what does she want that he can give her. She wants his jacket for tonight, as its freezing; he kisses her as Tessa spies on them saying they are such a cute couple; admitting to Mariah she is happier than she ever thought she could be. Mariah has been waiting all night to say something, finally asking Tessa if she wants to live together.

Rey Holds A Press Conference

Sharon watches the news as Rey holds a news conference, announcing they have newly discovered evidence that classifies this case as a murder investigation. This is an active investigation, so he cannot answer any questions at this time. Everyone watching the news has shock and terror written all over their faces.
