Phyllis Announces She Slept With Nick

She’s furious over how people are harping over her private business. He reminds her that she is the one sleeping with her ex in a very public place and advises her not to push out the last of the remaining Abbotts out of the their family company. She tells him that they are all relying on her to fix Jabot, but they all need to get the hell out of her way. Billy (Jason Thompson) walks in and Phyllis reveals she slept with Nick (Joshua Morrow) last night and Jack disapproves.

Sharon (Sharon Case) and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) meet at GCAC, surprised they hadn’t heard anything from their blackmailers. They both wonder if they had left town, even though everything was postmarked PG, Sharon says Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) hasn’t said anything, including whether the Commission has shut down the investigation into JT (Thad Luckinbill). Victoria wants Sharon to look into JT’s files once again, even though she got caught before. Victoria is desperate, worried JT is back to make them all pay.

Rey Takes Soil Samples At The Park

Abby (Melissa Ordway) sits with Arturo (Jason Canela), understanding that he planned on turning the watch in all along. He hopes they figure out who lost it. Rey is at Chancellor Park, taking samples of the soil where Arturo found the watch.

Billy doesn’t seem phased about Phyllis sleeping with Nick and the two continue with their business meeting, while Jack leaves. Billy feels Phyllis should have brought Jack into their battle. Phyllis says sex with Nick wasn’t revenge on Billy because he was the last thing on her mind. She dismisses him, saying she will send him and Kyle instructs after she reviews everything.

Mackenzie Meets With Rey

Mackenzie “Mac” Hellstrom (Kelly Kruger) arrives at the GCPC to meet with Rey. He hopes she can confirm something for him. Sharon arrives at the precinct and see Mac standing there. Rey whisks her away before Sharon can find anything out. Sharon quickly calls Victoria, saying there seems to be more to this as Mac is upset, like something happened.

Summer comes to see her mother about a special new project. Summer wants to add Kyle to the virtual dressing room app they use for Fenmores for Jaboutiques, but Phyllis doesn’t trust him and she is done trying to make the Abbotts happy. Summer worries if Phyllis doesn’t do this, Kyle could be disastrous for Jabot.

At GCAC, Kyle finds Kerry (Alice Hunter) and joins her at her table. Kyle reveals he stumbled on a video of Kerry rock climbing and how difficult her job is going to be, offering his help anyway he can but she isn’t having it; asking him where he got his chemistry degree from. Kyle talks about how close he was to Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and that is how Jabot is.

Kerry And Kyle Bicker

Kerry wants to know if he is proposing that the two of the conspire to go after Phyllis the same way him and Ashley went after Billy, or does he need her to gain secrets so he can stage his own coup? He says he respects and admires Phyllis immensely; Kerry says that is great because she will be sure to share this entire conversation with her so there is no misunderstanding.

Rey reminds Mac he is committed to finding answer about JT, showing her the watch he found. Mac immediately recognizes it, saying it was an anniversary present from back when they felt like celebrating and he never took it off.

Billy finds Summer at Crimson, where he informs her that her parents are back together; although Summer is doubtful they are anything serious. Billy reminds her that she was instrumental in ruining all those relationships. Summer suggests he could get back at Nick by seducing her grandmother, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott); Jack catches the end of the conversation and wants to know what the hell that was.

Kyle gets a call from Phyllis, saying she just sent him an email and if they didn’t get much feedback its because she deleted what she didn’t want done. She is about to go for lunch but she wants him to meet her in the office after her lunch meeting; saying this is his chance to show her what he’s got and he better not blow it as he won’t get a second one.

Jack Suspicious Of Summer And Billy

Billy tells Jack that Summer is bitter and he is not going to retaliate by gambling. Jack feels there is something missing, and Billy tries to act like he doesn’t know what Jack is talking about. Kerry interrupts them, talking to Jack in private about how Kyle is trying to score information about her work, secrets and the lab.

She thinks Jack could be working along side; calling the Abbotts a confident bunch who think they can squeeze information out of her in hopes that Phyllis fails. Jack denies it but she doesn’t believe him.

Mac has a meeting with Victoria, revealing the watch Rey found but has no clue where Rey got it; only that it was a significant lead. Mac and Victoria both feel they might have to manage their expectations about JT and whether he is alive or not; Mac is confident Rey will get answers very soon.

Jack considers Phyllis a friend and doesn’t wish her any ill-will. He says their commitment to her and appreciation for Kerry is everything, she suggests they show that to Phyllis as well and they can’t undermine her; Jack as the leader of the Abbott family needs to push his family too. Jack tells Kerry she makes a good argument; when she gets a message to get to the lab, Jack offers her a ride and she accepts.

Sharon Gets Bad News

Sharon walks into Crimson and sits with Billy. Billy feels the news would be less painful coming from him and tells Sharon that Nick is Phyllis’ new sex buddy.

Summer walks into the Jabot CEO office, where Kyle is already sitting. Kyle knows he has a new assignment, but is shocked that Summer is the one who recommended him for this after treating her so horribly. Kyle feels this is his golden opportunity and cancels his plans with Lola (Sasha Calle), which couldn’t make Summer happier.

Sharon feels what Phyllis is doing to Billy is far worse than her situation. Sharon is determined that her thing with Nick is over for good. Billy reminds her how much Nick has been lying to her and she deserves a whole lot better than what Nick has been giving her; Sharon questions how Billy is lasting in the environment he works in too.

He feels she is handling the news amazingly, but she says she had doubts until she found out Nick and Phyllis hooked up again; that erased any lingering doubts she had. Billy tells her if it gets too much, or needs to do any hell raising, she can call him.

Phyllis finds Summer in her office and Summer immediately wants to know about her and Nick. Phyllis doesn’t know but wants to know how Summer feels about it. Summer wonders if it is a rebound thing, knowing how deep their bond is, doesn’t that mean they have so much more to lose and is Phyllis sure this is the right way to go about it?

Rey Declares Chancellor Park A Crime Scene

Mac says goodbye to Victoria and they promise to stay in touch if either one of them hear anything. Abby tells Victoria that Arturo found the watch at Chancellor Park in a pile of dirt, wondering how JT’s watch would end up there. In the meantime, Arturo returns to his job site, where Rey informs him his crew has been relieved as this is official city business as crime scene tape surrounds the area.
