As a matter of fact, many disgruntled viewers took to their social media accounts to complain that they haven’t seen his character in action in several long weeks. Realizing that a lot of people have taken to their Twitter accounts to show Paul the support that he needs, the actor thanked them for being there for him through the good times and the bad times. He followed up with a tweet of his own that said, “Thank you for all your support and inquiries. Paul will be back September 10thin the U.S. and a day earlier in Canada.”

It didn’t take very long for Doug’s fans to respond to his tweet as plenty of them wrote, “Can’t wait but it would be better as a constant storyline for Paul. You are too good to be hiding in the pages. More time for Paul! More time for Paul,” along with, “How boring is The Young and the Restless going to be! Mist as well not watch until then. You should be on the screen way more often.”
Another fan wrote, “Paul should have a top storyline and be on almost daily. I can’t wait to see what Paul is going to be investigating next.”

With that said, there are quite a few things that could certainly keep Paul busy. After all, it doesn’t look like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is being very honest these days. Plus, there’s so much more to explore about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and the time he spent hiding in Las Vegas. If that weren’t enough, no one knows what Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be doing next. Someone should tell Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to get on the phone with Paul. She’s got a new mission for him!

YES, when he comes back, he needs to dig up Victor’s past about the Delia hit
and run accident and I know what the old man is hiding, it needs to come out
and its time for him to go down same as his wife Nikki.
It says up there what Nikki wants you to do is dig up Adam’s secrets when he was in
Las Vegas Nevada and do the same for her, what goes around comes back and bite
her in the a$$
Paul, Christine, Lauren and Michael need to have full time storylines that revolves around their personal lives as well as their jobs! Heck I’d rather see them on a camping trip than all the hate talk back n fourth from the drama queens! These are the Veterans of the show! Y&R writers are focusing wayyyyyy too much on stupid senseless talk to the hand drama from the young characters and is a complete waste of my day and time! About to give up on this show!

Ace , I am with you all the way here ! Paul needs more screen time and cut out so much sickening sweet stuff with Lola and Kyle and build up some good drama . What happened to Cane he dropped off the set real quick like , another one leaving , no story line ? Traci is on the the back burner now also . Glad to see more of the Baldwins , now we need Glo to come back to stir all up with her sassy self ! She is a hoot !!
