The moment rejoiced on The Young and the Restless’ Instagram page where they showed a photo of the amazing actress with the following caption, “Please join us in wishing the amazing @real_jchapman a very happy birthday! 🎁🎉 #YR”

She was born in Greenville, South Carolina, on November 15, 1951, so today is the talented performer’s 71st birthday! Chapman made her on-screen debut in the spaghetti western Sette donne per I MacGregor or Up the MacGregor’s! even though she is best known for her work in various daytime soap operas.

She played Natalie Bannon on the eye network’s As the World Turns, a con artist who wormed her way into Tom Hughes’s heart and convinced him to propose. This was her first soap opera role. Judith Chapman received favorable reviews for her work on Ryan’s Hope in 1983. She portrayed Charlotte Greer, a character who, by claiming to be Frank Ryan’s ex-wife, fueled a rift between her family and the Ryans.

The Young and the Restless executives hired Chapman in 2005 to take over the role of Gloria Fisher, replacing the previous actress Joan Van Ark. It was sort of a comeback for the actress who had filled in for Y&R star Jess Walton in the 1980s when she was unable to play Jill due to illness.
