The Young And The Restless Poll: Which Y&R Character Would You Like To Share Coronavirus (COVID-19) Quarantine With? Vote Now!

The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that with the current coronavirus scare, many people are needing to be quarantined for their own safety and the safety of others, also in modern terms called “social distancing”.

A new poll asks if you had to hunker down and shelter in place for health reasons for an indeterminate length of time, which of your favorite characters on The Young and The Restless would you want to hunker down with? We would like to know, please vote in our poll!

There will be several listed, both male and female, plus a place for “other” if you don’t see your fave’s name here. We’ll start with some baby boomers and work our way down in age!

Victor Newman

We’re sure there are some longtime fans who might like to hunker down and be quarantined with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden); after all, the Newman Ranch has plenty of space if he gets a little too crabby or curmudgeonly. Besides, he has just survived a deadly, rare, blood disease recently and came through with flying colors, and we’re sure he would be a good example on how not to be afraid or panic, or at least, fake your way through it!

Nikki Newman

Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has also endured some pretty remarkable recoveries from diseases including sarcoidosis, breast cancer, and multiple sclerosis! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that recently she has been very kind and helpful to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) as she is going through her trials with breast cancer. Nikki is a good friend to have in tight situations!

Jack Abbott

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is a good, positive person who’ll have your back even if you are quarantined with him. He will try to see the bright side of things even if things don’t look so bright. He too has survived several comas, serious injuries, heart attacks and being trapped in collapsed buildings. Besides, he’s kind of cute and easy on the eyes!

Traci Abbott

Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) is a good friend to have in a crisis also, being as kind and understanding as she is. You will never be bored or hungry with Traci – she can cook, and you will never run out of good books to read, and if you do, she’ll write some more! She also has a pleasant personality!

Nicholas Newman

Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will keep you laughing if nothing else! He has a funny, quirky kind of humor and he likes to tease, so be prepared to tease him back! He is someone who can take care of himself as well as others, and is capable of patience, in case you’re stuck with him for a long time! Plus, he’s a pretty handy guy, he has worked in construction and would know how to fix things if they broke!

Sharon Newman

Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is also a sweet, understanding person. She has taken classes to be a counselor so if you start going crazy of cabin fever or freak out at the scary news reports, she’ll be able to calm you down. She’s got a pretty little house with very feminine decorating, she makes a mean cup of coffee and bakery goods, and for the sake of the poll, we’ll say she is not battling breast cancer when you’re quarantined with her!


 Nate Hastings

Now there’s the perfect person to be quarantined with – he’s a doctor! Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will know just what to do or not do in this quarantine time. He’ll know whether your cough is something to worry about or if it’s just irritation from dry air from being stuck in a heated house in the wintertime in the Midwest. He usually keeps his “black bag” with him as well, unlike most real-life doctors!

Elena Dawson

Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) is also a doctor, and a kind and loyal friend. She too keeps her “black bag” with her and having been trained as an EMT, she is good at handling emergencies should they arise and calming people down.

Kyle Abbott

Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may be an acquired taste as far as being quarantined with for any length of time, but he will take charge if things need to take charge of. He, like his dad, is easy on the eyes but he might get a little testy once in a while!

Lola Rosales

You won’t go hungry with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) around! She will probably have a good supply of food stocked up and she’ll know how to cook it and portion it out so it lasts the whole quarantine as well, being used to ordering food in quantity for a restaurant!

      Am upset CBS halted tapings?
      No. Safety first. The healthy and safety of all involved in the production is the top priority
      If you run out of new episodes to air you have decades of episodes to choose repeats from. Not all of us have watched since day one and there are some great classic episodes that could be shown.

      Some things are more important than current soaps right now , my city is in lock down ( I’m 67 ) and I love Y&R , but let’s all be safe . Pull out some of the old shows out of the archives , it should be a hoot watching them . Do what we need to do – things are changing in the world ….
