The Young and the Restless Poll: Will Jack and Celeste Become A Couple?

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) traveled to Miami, Florida, on ‘The Young and the Restless’. It was his initiative and charm that persuaded Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) to return to Genoa City, Wisconsin, in order to attend her only daughter’s wedding.

‘Kola’s’ nuptials are front and center now, which is right. Moving forward, the ceremony could be looked back upon as a flash point that led to Jack and Celeste becoming a couple.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – ‘Jeleste’ Projects Nicely

Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) was embarrassed when her mom effusively complimented Jack, the first time Celeste met him at the Abbott mansion. The partial parents meet and greet happened weeks before ‘Kola’s’ August wedding and without Adrian Rosales (Jay Montalvo) being present.

Before leaving GC in a huff, Celeste told Lola that she didn’t want to stay where tension existed. Part of that strife was created by LaRue’s character having told Lola and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) that she’d reconciled with their estranged father.

The Rosales’ are married, having never divorced after they separated while Celeste was carrying Lola. Their recent break, that Lola just learned about in a letter her father wrote to her, combines with the above to project ‘Jeleste’ as possible.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott’s Single Mingle

Y&R viewers see Jack at his son’s, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), wedding with full family support, meaning that of his siblings, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). But Bergman’s character didn’t have a significant other, or even a plus-one, at the event. And yes plus-one is an admittedly more fluid and cheeky term.

Jack has been alone for awhile. He needed to focus on his mother’s, Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams), Alzheimer’s diagnosis and did.

While a modest relationship with a business associate was recently teased, Y&R wrote that short-term, recurring character out. So, Jack’s single and he’s often been known to mingle. Three of his former wives, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) aren’t options and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) is just a friend.

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Pairing Makes Sense On Many Levels

Having Kyle and Lola’s parents become involved romantically would allow the easy expansion of many ‘Kola’-based scenes. With Adrian having arrived, there would be clear conflict between that newly introduced character and Jack.

Celeste’s impressive presence surely makes her someone that Jack would be drawn to. He knows that she finds him to be highly appealing, which lifts this well-known playboy’s ego as well.
