The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Joshua Morrow Put His House Up For Sale
Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Josh has been playing Nick Newman for a very long time – since 1988, as a matter of fact. Josh had made some waves when some fans of The Young and The Restless spied that he had listed his house for sale (according to the Los Angeles Times) around the time that Nick was going through some major shakeups in the storylines. He has been playing Nick since he was a teenager himself and debuted as a SORASED (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome) child.
The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Nick is the younger brother of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and the second child of legacy characters Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Nick and Victoria are also the only full siblings among Victor and Nikki’s children. Indeed, Nick Newman could be considered a legacy character himself he’s been on so long.
Y&R Spoilers – Nick Newman Says Goodbye?
Viewers of The Young and The Restless who were keeping up with Joshua Morrow really got worried as the rumors started ramping up! There was an episode titled “Nick Says Goodbye.” There were two actors who did leave The Young and The Restless as contract players but do recur when asked, about that same time; Hunter King and Michael Mealor. Hunter plays Nick’s daughter with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Michael plays Kyle Abbott, Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) son and now Summer’s husband since the two characters recently married off-screen.
Joshua’s character Nick has been heavily involved in ongoing storylines recently, such as trying to protect Victoria from marrying a powerful con artist turned business mogul, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). The wedding went through, but there is the fallout that is forecasted to play out with Nick in the thick! Nick and Phyllis are headed to a rough patch as well, which always provides a lot of drama!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Joshua Morrow Almost Walked Away A Couple Of Times
The Young and The Restless’ Joshua Morrow admits there have been a few times in which he had thought about walking away from his long-running acting job. In 2018, he had an interview with Michael Fairman in which he told Fairman that after twenty-five years of playing Nick, he was thinking about leaving—at the time, he was obviously feeling a little burnt out! Josh told Fairman he didn’t think he could do it anymore.
There was a period where Josh thought Nick had said everything he had to say and lived everything he had to live. But shortly afterwards, a dramatic vengeance storyline came up in which Nick tangled with his father, Victor and Josh bounced back! Of course, everyone took time off during the 2020 lockdowns. Josh noted that when they came back to the studio, things were different, but with all the requirements because of covid, that is understandable. But for now, viewers of The Young and The Restless can be assured that Joshua Morrow as Nick Newman is not going anywhere!

Nick is not leaving its just a rumor, he is still against his father and his friend
Ashland is not going to quit till he takes both of them down and it looks like Victor
will try get rid of Gaines but Nick will be standing right behind him to stop it so that's
out of luck for his meanest father in y & r Victor is only nice to Ashland because of the
two towers and once he is gone its his but he doesn't know Ashland doesn't have
cancer and his princess Victoria doesn't either.
Joshua please stay, you are one of the best on Y&R. If it has not been for you and Sharon on here I would not be watching everyday. You 2 are the best actor and actress that have been through alot together and not. We need you on here the show would not be good without you. The fans love you even if things do not go our way, we love seeing you play your parts they are great. Even if things do not go right for you Sharon will always be their for you. You have to figure out how you want to precede and try to get your family back. You are a family man and only one person can help you do that and the only one that can help, and the one you are trully in love with.{Sharon} Please stay and you give everything you have to do this. Remember you have a hospital to run,kids that need you and one person {Sharon}that love you. Please do not disappoint your fans, we all love you, and would be lost without you as Nick, noone can take your place.Please rethink this for all your fans,{WE LOVE YOU} as Nick. I do believe it is rumors…Nick said goodbye to Summer….That was it, Months ago he sold his home and bought another in LA…..I like Nick and Phyllis together, they have the chemistry. always. I like Ashland, he makes the show. I do not want Jack with Phyllis , Get rid of Billy since it is the Billy/Lily show….Adam and Sharon….not Sally.
For Nick to be Victor's child, he sure is stupid. He don't want to have nothing to do with his father's business, always running around talking about family, can't find a decent woman in his life, always after a woman with problems (Chelsea and Phyllis), don't want to work for his father's company, but critize everyone for what they do. I would love for him to be brought down to earth with some first hand truths, such as his daughter, Summer, sleeping with Billy Boy Abbott and that his bed warmer, Phyllis, knows all about it, but she forgot to mention it. I don't think Nick can handle the truth of anything because he is so caught up in trying to make sure everyone else is on the straight and narrow. Make him a character that has some secrets of his own that he doesn't want anyone to know about. Maybe I can help the writers with that: ONE COULD BE HE SLEEPS WITH SALLY, HE FINDS OUT ABOUT BILLY BOY ABBOTT AND HIS DAUGHTER, SUMMER SLEEPING TOGETHER, AND THAT PHYLLIS KNOW ABOUT IT. Now if that don't send him over the edge, he needs some mental health counseling. Come on beef up his boring role and keep Nick Newman around. He is Victor's child and the apple don't fall from the tree.

Do not agree at all. The only chemistry between Nick and Phyllis is sex. Jack and Phyllis will be ok, better if she is not around at all. Billy and Lily are the most boring besides Abby and her group. Adam and Sharon, no way, Nick and Sharon should be together.
I think Joshua should stay on the show. He needs to get a wife and have a happy life,then he can stay out other people problem's. He has been on the show for a very long time.
Joshua Morrow just cannot leave Y&R. It would ruin the entire show. I don't even want to think about that happening!

Oh NO Joshua can’t leave YR . He’s major draw to the soap for me. . He’s evolved, matured and should be making his own way as Newman . Doesn’t need to be under Victor but on his own venture . That’s terrific. Don’t let him leave. Maybe vacation .. not a long one but stay on the show !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m NOT GOING TO BE HAPPY IF STORYLINE HAS ASHLAND NOT SICK . THAT’s cruel storyline for Victoria. I’m tired of her at dead ends. Seems good to have her smile n be happy for once in theses years!!
I can see both you and Kimdawns points of view. I don't like Billy and Lilly as a couple, he treats her like a fool. I would rather see Sharon with Adam than silly Sally. You are completely right about Nick and Phyllis, just sleazy sex, nothing interesting about them. Ashland has brought some much needed drama and revived Victoria and Victors characters.
I would quit watching the show if he left. He is one of the reasons I watch it. He is down to earth and the stable and sensible Newman. I just think he is a great actor.
I really like the actor who plays Nick. I don't blame him if he does actually feel Restless though. Nick needs some better stories, as do Jack. These two wonderful veterans deserve good stories and ones that actually keep on track with their characters history. Nick in this Witch hunt involving Ashland made the character look like a self righteous fool, incapable of acknowledging his own flaws. Party boy Nick got some girl so badly hurt she came back for revenge. Please writers do your homework because I don't blame these actors for being frustrated and possibly even insulted by some of their characters storylines.
I would like him to stay but not with Phyllis. No chemistry there. She’s too old for him. Give him someone new and sexy looking.
