The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Ashland Lives For Revenge – Kyle’s Fears Come True

The Young And the Restless: Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi)The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will confront Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about what happened with Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner). Whether this tale is leading to a single confrontation between both men or also a confirmation that Kyle is a dad will soon be known.

It stands to reason that Ashland is already wondering if Kyle fathered the son he thought was his own. But for the moment Kyle and his father are trying to maneuver first-step damage control.

This storyline isn’t all about Kyle. While Ashland might be targeting Kyle and understandably so, his wife is also to blame.

For whatever her reasons, Tara was wrong to betray Ashland when she cavorted with Kyle in New York. Not only did she do so, but then, by her recent admission, became pregnant with his child.

If Harrison Locke (no actor known to be cast for this role) is Kyle’s child, then Tara lied to Ashland and Mealor’s character for more than three years. Tara said that Ashland has treated her well. So, his reputation as a terrible guy apparently hasn’t extended into her life, which should have allowed her to tell him the truth.

Y&R Spoilers – Jack Abbott Has Deep Experience

As Ashland will say, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has a reputation as a man who the ladies like. That personal point will be linked to Kyle, with Jack already knowing half of Kyle’s backstory with Tara.

Jack’s experience in Genoa City, Wisconsin, is legendary. Bergman’s iconic portrayal of this character is the reason why Mealor has the opportunity to play a modern version of Smilin’ Jack.

A paternity test must follow when all parties come clean. Whether the Locke’s are able to remain married will then be decided. If Kyle is a father, then he and Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) lives will change drastically, as Skyle’s connection will be tested.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kudos To Michael Mealor

Mealor has been a terrific addition to the cast since he assumed the Kyle role in 2018. He projects the Jack-esque qualities of swagger and vulnerability, while also making the Kyle character his own.

This battle with Ashland allows Mealor to play off Burgi. This excellent veteran actor has a deep resume, with numerous daytime credits included.

So, Kyle’s greatest adult challenge is ongoing. The future of his life, that of his assumed son’s, and his plans to marry the woman he loves all are in the balance this spring on Y&R.

      Please let's see Jack put Ashland in his place. I appreciate a good bad guy is great for a story but I want to see Jack show his strength and business skills and defeat this bully.
