But Abby can not deny that Ashley appears to care for Tucker, and St. John’s character has worked hard to make amends with his son, Devon Hamilton Winters (Bryton James). Yet, Abby did not like that Tucker encouraged Ashley to turn away from her family’s legacy, Jabot.

Tucker earned a sneaky reputation. He intends to bring down Jabot and Ashley is on board with that. Abby will not be pleased with her mother or Tucker if that plan is pursued.

If Ashley adds McCall to her name or even if she does not, remarrying Tucker would represent a watershed moment. The seemingly happy couple intends to marry, likely in August.

That appears to be part of Ashley’s distraction plan. She wants to keep Jack and Diane off their game by using Tucker as an emotional weapon against them.

Combining that with legal assertions that intend to pull Ashley’s patents from Jabot would dramatically impact business. If successful, it would also put the intended new company Tucker named, Simply Ashley, in a strong position to challenge Jabot from the jump.

Bergman’s character seems to leap from one crisis to the next as his unending quest for personal happiness continues. Meanwhile, Ashley wants to pull Jack from Diane’s clutches so that Jabot survives.

If that can not happen, then Simply Ashley is intended as Ashley’s future landing spot, probably with Tucker at her side, at least initially on Y&R.
