The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman Sits Ashland Locke Down

In this week’s preview for The Young and The Restless for the week of October 4, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has a sit down with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Victor will do anything to keep Victoria happy, and that includes making her fiancé’s blackmailer go away! Victor met with Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) last week, and paid him off and let Locke know he wouldn’t be a problem.

Locke warned him Gaines may not give up that easily, but so far it’s smooth sailing and the bad penny hasn’t turned up again. Victor tells Locke in no uncertain terms that he will allow no one or nothing to ruin his daughter’s wedding day, as a flashback scene plays when Victoria was trying on the wedding dress that Lauren Fenmore Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) had made for her and delivered. But it seems that Billy Boy Abbott will continue to make himself a problem as he continues to dig up even dirtier dirt on his ex-wife’s fiancé!

Y&R Spoilers – Victoria Newman Expresses her Concerns About Billy Abbott To Nikki Newman

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will remember that Billy boy has opposed Victoria’s involvement with the ever shifty “Locke Ness Monster” since the beginning! Billy makes excuses for himself by telling her that he is concerned for their children, and their and Victoria’s closeness to a man dying of cancer, but it looks like there may be a little jealousy mixed in there as well!

Victoria expresses her worries to her mother, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and tells her that her one big concern is Billy! Victoria tells Nikki that Billy seems very determined to prevent the ceremony! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that Billy isn’t the only one with concerns about Locke – she disinvited her brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) for digging up Ashland’s past, although he will not give up on protecting his sister! In Society, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) tells him in no uncertain terms that Victoria has made her choice, and she’s marrying Ashland. Billy tells Adam that it’s not over until she says I do! Longtime viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that there is a long history of bad blood between Adam and Billy, but that does not seem to come in play here. Billy is as determined to step up his game to prevent Victoria from marrying a criminal Ashland Locke, as Adam and his father Victor are in supporting her choice to do so!
