Now that the dynamics and situations are changing all around him, Chelsea’s upcoming “parenting challenge” could be connected.

It might also lead to Chelsea’s maternity exit story. Maybe Chelsea thinks that a break is what Connor needs. The two could go on vacation – just the two of them. Or perhaps Chelsea takes Connor to see his grandmother.
