The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Cameron Kirsten’s (Linden Ashby) storyline came to an end. There was a quick end on Friday’s episode. Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) defended herself and her family. She stabbed Cameron right in the heart, which was a delicious end.

Some of the Y&R fans took to the Soap Central forums to share their thoughts. Most of them were shocked over how quickly this storyline was resolved. Others wondered why the show brought back Linden for just a quick stint and to kill him off.

However, the storyline isn’t over yet. Just because Cameron is dead doesn’t mean the trouble is over. The previous for The Young and the Restless reveals that Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) is strapped to an explosive device. Also, they’ll be feeling the aftereffects of this, including the potential legal ramifications.

Other fans are happy that the storyline was wrapped up so quickly. Not every storyline on the soap has to be dragged out for months. Most agree that this storyline did exactly what it needed to. A villain returned to Genoa City for the first time in 20 years.

He raised enough hell and finally saw his fate. There doesn’t need to be any more to his story. Even Linden hinted in interviews that he wasn’t meant to be on the show forever. He’s currently working on another project, so this had to be a short stint for him.

However, other Y&R fans would’ve loved a few more weeks of “dramatic twists and turns.” It’s a bittersweet end to his story. Yet, there’s no need to drag on his storyline anymore. Fans are hoping that the other storylines will wrap up quickly.
