CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers document that the phone call Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) played off masks a coming storm in Genoa City, Wisconsin. This seems to have been foreshadowed when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) told Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) that he felt a chill in the air, which was classic soap dialogue that means heavy drama was approaching for the Newman family.

Jack’s apparently conspiring with Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle). What they’re working on remains a mystery. But it would seem unlikely to involve Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) revealed Kansas secret, which Vickie seems inclined to publicly expose. So, it’s possible that the pact between Jack and Vickie will have a short shelf life.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Abbott Senses Vulnerability

Victor was sitting at Society’s bar when Jack walked in. He noticed that the Moustache had a certain dour look on his face and rightly recognized that as representing trouble with Adam existed.

Braeden’s character wasn’t in the mood to hear Jack’s armchair psycho babel, revealed nothing, and basically told him to shut up. Jack got a dig in about his positive relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), which had a double meaning that demeaned Victor’s dysfunctional dealings with Adam.

Y&R Spoilers – Vickie Newman Runs The Show

Victor accepted Vickie’s pitch in the spring. She gave her father an ultimatum. Either the installs her as Newman Enterprises Chief Executive Officer, or she was leaving. He was pleased with his daughter’s moxie, seeing it as proof that she had earned the right to replace him.

Of course, as a founder of this company Victor stands above Victoria, or whoever may come to run the company one day. So, might Jack be looking to forge some type of partnership with this global behemoth? That would seem more likely than a full merger of the companies, as Jack couldn’t pull that off by himself.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor Newman’s Distraction Creates An Opening

Vickie doesn’t hold the same grudges that her father does. So, she could establish a new business connection with Jabot and explain it as being similar to Newman’s past links to that beauty business.

As for Jack, he actually had decent conversations with Victor in recent times. But he still loathes the man based on Jabot being stolen from John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), which led to his father’s serious health problems. That business point doesn’t even cover bitter battles for Nikki and Victor’s live link to Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).

Heinle’s character is shrewd, as is Bergman’s. So it’s possible that she won’t be giving Jack any opening and that he won’t be risking much if anything with whatever their new connection is. But then again, one never knows what drives the Newman’s and Abbott’s to act as they do toward each other.
