Considering the complicated history and situation between the two men, could Kyle be accused of killing the “Locke-ness Monster?”

Y&R spoilers reveal that there are plenty of hints that Ashland will meet his maker in the near future. Ashland came roaring into Genoa City and created drama right from the beginning. Ashland’s been a bit of a mystery ever since.

Ashland began as a clear villain but then things shifted a bit after his cancer diagnosis. Ashland really seemed to be in love with Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle). Some fans thought maybe love changed him. Of course, there were the fans that knew Ashland was lying about his cancer, which has now been confirmed.

Y&R Spoilers – Long Suspect List

Right now, Victoria has convinced Ashland that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) framed him. Ashland has taken the bait and broke into Adam’s office. It seems that Ashland might plant evidence to make sure it looks like he was framed.

However, Ashland might not win this war. If he is murdered, there will be countless suspects. Nearly everyone in Genoa City seems to have a reason to kill Ashland.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kyle Abbott’s Return

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Kyle is coming back to Genoa City. Kyle is directly tied to Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) storyline. However, things have been going well for Kyle since he moved to Milan with Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) to be with Summer Newman (Hunter King).

So, it is likely that Kyle will be involved in a lot of drama, and it might not just be about Diane. If Ashland’s murder happens the same time that Kyle returns, then he could be accused of the crime.

Y&R Spoilers – Diane Jenkins’ Redemption

Diane claims that she has changed but that doesn’t seem like a genuine statement. Diane does seem to want to connect with Kyle, though. Kyle might initially turn Diane down because of the anger he feels over being abandoned. So, Diane might get involved in helping clear Kyle’s name.

In soaps, writers tend to try to redeem villains. While Diane will never be truly redeemed, this could open the door to Kyle’s forgiveness. Plus, it would set up another type of drama and conflict… with Summer, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). It sounds like the drama and chaos are really starting to kick up in Genoa City!

      I guess sooner or later it will come to that… how much of an ongoing storyline can they do now? So strange that Victoria was never with her beloved husband when he went for chemo, etc…. So many lives were lost in real life from that horrible cancer and even if it's fictional, to lie about it… Outrageous… let's end this foolishness… Now, what about Summer and Harrison? We shall see.

      They need to kill more than Ashland off if they can't write these actors/characters any decent stories. The stories they do write drag on to the point of boredom damaging any of the good parts. Stories are starting off well but often go in disappointing or uninteresting direction. I hope Kyle doesn't return doing a Nikki and Diane story, he kills Ashland, only for Ashland to show up in some far fetched story buying a house from someone's dead kid. Sorry but there's nothing going on just now on the show that has me invested. I wouldn't have been a long running fan if I had started watching with these stories that a currently dragging on. I wish the would hire someone to get these stories moving, its luke watching a stagnant pond.
