CBS The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates reveal the Covid-19 pandemic has caused everyone to miss a couple of events and has made some forget what day it as each day seems the same as before. This has made some want to either restart the year or skip over it entirely. Many people have approached the pandemic with more of a humorous outlook in order to keep things bright.
It seems that The Young and the Restless Star, Michelle Stafford has decided to take a humorous outlook on lockdown and the pandemic as well as the loss of time that everyone may be feeling.

Michelle has taken to her Instagram to post an announcement. In her latest post she said, “So I joked about this before but I am FOR REAL not counting any of this time (we’ve been in quarantine) as my age! I am taking off (at least) a year off my age guys… maybe more. If anyone has a problem with that… just take it up with the big guy.“

She continued on by saying, “So, maybe I will just go back to this time I did this photoshoot with @bkheadshots in September of 2019 and I’ll be starting from there. So, I guess this is not a legit #TBT but a plain #thursday Post. Feel free to do the same. I mean, why not, who the hell would dispute it… #iam35 #ish #sarcasmfolks #ish.” It is nice to see her take a humorous approach as she is known for her unique sense of humor, which may serve to lighten things up during a time like this.
Michelle plays the role of Phyllis Summers on The Young and the Restless. Production has been placed on hold for the time being as the pandemic and lockdown are going on. However, viewers are eager for the soap to begin production again.
It can be sure that when it does begin, that Phyllis will find herself in more trouble or plotting a new scheme. As of right now, she and Abby are going head to head with one another over their hotels. We’ll give you updates as Y&R news comes in. Less of Phyllis would be great. Since her return it’s like watching The Phyllis Show instead of The Young And The Restless. I would have really missed the show had the show had been giving other characters some stories but since it’s felt like it’s mostly all about Phyllis I’ve realized I needed this break from her awful acting. Sharon and her story has been the only thing holding this show together. Other good actors and their stories were abruptly cut. Kyle and Lola were enjoyable but I guess the show was more interested in putting Summer front and center of that story, despite most fans including myself don’t find anything interesting in the Kyle and Summer story. The show was becoming a major waste of time. The pandemic has probably done the show a favour of the writers have taken a good look at the stories fans don’t like and have used this time to rectify the situation. I will try it out of loyalty when it returns but if it’s just returning to be all about Phyllis and Summer I’m not going to keep wasting my time on watching bad characters and their poor, unentertaining performances.
