The Young And The Restless Spoilers Monday, November 9: Chance & Abby Engaged – Chelsea Escapes – Chance Shot Protecting Adam

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Monday, November 9, tease that in Genoa City, Wisconsin Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will stop in to see Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) at his penthouse. Lily will have a business proposition to run by Devon for a music streaming service. Devon will be into the idea, and they’ll briefly discuss Devon’s friendship with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Lily’s burgeoning relationship with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get an update from another doctor about his hand. The doctor will recommend physical therapy. Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will overhear the exchange, but when she questions Nate about it, he’ll basically brush her concerns off.

Next on Y&R, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will be surprised and happy when Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) proposes to her in Chancellor Park. Abby will happily accept after asking Chance to break tradition and let her speak about how they’ll be equal partners in every way. Chance and Abby will both be thrilled, and she’ll say that she wants to show Chance just how much she loves him. Chance and Abby will head over to the Grand Phoenix together.

Over at Newman Enterprises, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will wait for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to show up for the intervention. Nick will get a call from Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) saying there’s a problem with Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), and he’ll leave to go meet Sharon.

Adam, who will have no intention of showing up for the meeting, will be at his penthouse setting up an app on his phone that triggers some type of device in the Newman Enterprises building. Adam will then get a text from someone saying, “She’s gone. Somehow she escaped. What now?” Adam will leave the penthouse shortly thereafter.

At Crimson Lights, Sharon will tell Nick all about how Faith lashed out earlier at Adam. Nick will feel proud of Faith, and he’ll wonder how Faith is doing now and where she is. Sharon will relay that Faith is off with her friend Jordan (Madison Thompson).

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nate Hastings Drops Some Big News On Elena Dawson

Next on Y&R, Nate and Elena will meet up at Crimson Lights. Nate will be feeling down about his hand, and he’ll blame Devon for his injury. Elena will do her best to put a positive spin on the situation, saying that Nate can still be a doctor even if he can’t be a surgeon. Nate won’t be up for the pep talk, and he’ll tell Elena that he’s leaving Genoa City, as there’s nothing to keep him there.

Meanwhile, at the Grand Phoenix, Chance and Abby will make love and talk happily about their engagement. Abby will tell Chance that they’ll find the right time to tell their families about their engagement and that it will be a grand celebration. Abby will leave to head over to Newman Enterprises, and Chance will learn that Adam has left his penthouse.

Next on Y&R, Abby will show up at Newman Enterprises after hiding her engagement ring in her purse. Adam still won’t be there, and Nick will show up in short order and tell everyone about Faith standing up to Adam. Victor will try to call Adam, but he’ll get no answer, and Abby will try to call Chance, too, who won’t answer his phone.

Adam will appear at the room where Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) was being held captive, and shortly thereafter Chance will walk in. Chance will demand answers from Adam, but Adam will argue and basically tell Chance nothing substantive. Adam will leave, and Chance will follow him outside.

Finally, on Monday’s episode of Y&R, Adam will get a text saying, “Victor is still at the location,” prompting Adam to take action, Adam will be ready to press a button on his app when Chance looks up and notices a gun pointed straight at Adam. Chance will yell at Adam and throw himself in front of the bullet as a mystery person pulls the trigger.
