Y&R spoilers for the week of January 31 reveal that Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) announces to Adam that she is his new boss. Adam is blindsided by it as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) never let him know. So, Victoria will delight in this and gloat about it.

When Adam confronts Victor, he will be given an ultimatum. Adam either needs to accept the change or he can quit Newman Media. Adam isn’t going to give Victoria the satisfaction, so he stays on at the company.

Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will plan their wedding. However, Tessa has a confession to make. It doesn’t stop the wedding planning, so it seems everything with the couple is okay.

However, there is the issue with Noah. As fans know, Noah is struggling with the engagement and it could get worse. So much so that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) become concerned.

Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is still struggling with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) having shared custody. Abby is also worried about Chance and suggests that he get therapy. As for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), she tells Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) about her job offer in Milan. Even though Phyllis is teased to leave Genoa City, it’s just for a short time. Maybe all Phyllis needs is a break and to reconnect with her daughter, Summer Newman-Abbott (Hunter King).
