The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, August 19 reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) decides to launch an investigation. Victor wants to know the truth about Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past. Meanwhile, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) shares information with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Victor Newman’s Suspicion
Y&R spoilers for Thursday reveal that Victor congratulated Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) on her engagement. Then, Victor went to talk to his daughter privately when he knew Ashland wouldn’t be around. Despite the father and daughter butting heads, Victor does care for her deeply. He doesn’t want her to get hurt and he isn’t satisfied with how Ashland answered his questions.

Victor knows that he likely won’t find any current information about Ashland. He covers his tracks well and is in the public eye. However, it hasn’t always been that way. Sometimes the best way to find the details of a person’s character is to look at their past. Ashland probably wasn’t as sly and clever in his younger days. So, Victor will go about investigating Ashland’s past. It is teased that he uncovers at least one secret that might have been best left alone.
Tessa Porter’s New Information
The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday reveal that Tessa will return from visiting her sister. When Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) first went missing, Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) suggested it was due to Tessa’s past. Even though the clues indicate that is unlikely, Tessa is looking for any small detail that can lead her to finding Mariah. Tessa must uncover something or perhaps there is another mysterious text message. It is confirmed that Tessa shares alarming information with Sharon.

It is also teased that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will keep his cards close to his chest. There is reason to believe that he will join Victor in learning more about Ashland. Fans may recall Nick’s response to Victoria confirming her engagement. However, what will they find out and could there be consequences for digging into Ashland’s past? Plus, will Victoria even be open to what they tell her? Or is she too taken in by Ashland’s deceitful charm?

I think the actress playing Abby should look for a new job. This Mariah story could be good if not for whoever is responsible is making Abby's character like some dumb, blonde, childish, sniveling, spoiled idiot. She is even being dressed like she is Faiths age! There is nothing wrong with a beautiful woman showing off a beautiful figure but in this context it is making Abby's character even more rediculous. If a woman has lost a beloved friend carrying a baby so precious to a woman the last thing she would be doing is getting up and starting he day dressing like Malibu Barbie heading for cocktails at a beachside bar!!! Seriously stop making women look so stupid and foolish, it's insulting!
But they took so long to figure out our something is wrong. These people were were made out to look like total idiots.
I think when Mariah goes into labor, ole Stitch will be there to help her deliver it and hope he doesn't steal the baby and also hope someone breaks in that door when he is the kidnapper and she'll be surrounded with her family that is worried about her, even

kidnapping of Mariah? Not going to be that close after this and can't wait for him to
be arrested and brought to jail.

I think stitch should kidnap the brat kid Harrison..That would create more excitement..Rey the super cop should get new job washing dishes .Thats if he can figure out the difference between a bowl and a plate..

It's the writers fault for gosh sake !!! The actors are just following the script !!!! We nee new writers !! End this miriah storyline !!! Stupid for sure !!!!
Things should be heating up about Ashland. Good. Then they can focus on looking for Miriah. At least have friends looking for her, that will let us know they care and looking for her. Nick needs to be helping find Miriah and let Victor rescus Victoria. Does he care she is missing or am I missing something here. Does not seem he is to upset about her missing. If your daughter missing would you be right in their trying to help find her instead of being at hotel thanking her for doing such a good job on Sally and Tara. What is the reason Nick is not looking for Miriah? I am disappointed in him. He should be helping Sharon look for her, like he did with Faith.
