The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) recent pregnancy peril could turn into a real miscarriage. And she might just keep it a secret-although she may not be able to for very long-to hang onto Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Close Call

Sally recently had a close call with her pregnancy, but when she went to her doctor she and the baby turned out to be okay. But, that could have been a clue of the direction things might be going down the line, and if she was to really miscarry she may not tell anyone. Considering she faked a terminal illness to hold onto a man before, back in Los Angeles, she could fake her pregnancy to hold onto Nick.

She’s had nothing but drama and troubles since she tested positive for her pregnancy, and Nick has done a lot of pampering. She could easily think that the baby is the only reason he’s staying with her, even if it is Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman).

Y & R Spoilers – Nick Newman Is Committed

Even though Nick is committed, Y&R spoilers show that Sally is very insecure – if she wasn’t, she wouldn’t have gone through such extreme measures to hold on to her ex-fiancé in LA. But unlike Nick, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) dumped Sally twice when a high school sweetheart, Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) came to town-he never was in it for the long haul.

Sally was worried when they found out the baby was Adam’s that Nick would dump her then, but he didn’t, although he was very disappointed. He’ll still have a new niece or nephew, but he was hoping for a baby of his own-Nick has told Sally he’ll love it either way. Nick also has reassured Sally many times that he wouldn’t abandon her and he’d love her either way as well.

Sally recently had a nightmare before she and Nick found out Adam is her baby’s father. She dreamed of two different scenarios, which obviously played out her hopes as well as her fears. Many would have banked that Sally would lie about the baby being Adam’s to others in the Newman family, but she was straight with Adam.

She was also honest with Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) when she confronted her about the pregnancy, and told her the baby was Adam’s conceived during goodbye sex. It’s obvious Sally is very insecure when it comes to men and relationships, and Nick and Adam both understand that and Adam regrets dumping her-but as for Nick, he’ll stay.
