The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease something’s very off with Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) response to Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) unbelievable news. Shouldn’t she be glad to hear that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is alive-that’s instant exoneration from her murder; instead she’s absolutely livid and calling her evil!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Daniel Romalotti Spilled His Sister’s Tea

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) recently spilled his sister, Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) tea about their mother being alive.

Daniel told Kyle, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) the narrative that Summer said Phyllis told her, and it seemed unbelievable, but at the same time, plausible.

Kyle wanted to tell Diane and Summer right away, but since Daniel had been sworn to secrecy by Summer, of course he didn’t want anyone to tell.

Michael said they needed more hard evidence although the details Daniel provided did make sense, given what he knew about the case. But as they were all talking about it, Diane came downstairs and interrupted them-Daniel told her she wasn’t going to prison.

Y & R Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Put Off And Not Told The Truth

Jack fudged the truth of what they were talking about as did Michael, which of course made Kyle upset-Diane and Summer both deserve to learn the truth.

So it’s no surprise that Kyle can’t hold back with his mother, who was happy about what Daniel told her, but wanted to know what he knew. Kyle knows that hard evidence needs to be obtained, and he and his father are going to try and find some, but that’s a couple of days away.

He does get why they need more than Daniel’s story even if he did know details that only Phyllis might know-but he could be culpable because of that.

So, when he and Diane finally have a chance to talk alone, he explains what was going on and why Daniel felt she’d be exonerated.

Diane reacts rather strangely to the news that Phyllis apparently is alive and that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) forced her into faking her death.

Diane rants, saying Phyllis ruined her life, and those of people who loved her, how could she be so hateful-and says it’s evil.

If anyone knows Stark could force Phyllis into such a situation it would be Diane-and does she not realize if Phyllis is found alive, she’s a free woman?

She can’t be tried and convicted of a murder that didn’t happen, with a living victim the proof! Perhaps it’s Diane’s own guilt over faking her death years ago that’s causing her odd reaction?
