The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) was blindsided. He thought offering McCall Unlimited to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) could solve his business and personal problems.

But Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) threw a spitball at Tucker, who was standing at the plate. The recent opening of spring training ties to the games Ashley is playing with the man she believes conned her once more.

But Tucker has arguably not betrayed Ashley’s trust. He never made a move on Jabot and has been trying to follow her advice since returning to Genoa City, Wisconsin.

No one would confuse Tucker with a man striving for true redemption. He wants to reconcile with Ashley and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) but still operates like a scoundrel where other people are concerned.

Ashley and Devon also have legitimate grievances. Davidson’s character can cite Tucker’s use of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) to try and gain Jabot’s financial intel and personal information about the Abbott family, including Ashley. Devon has overreacted to his biological father’s approach but is right to feel that planting Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) at Chancellor-Winters was very sneaky.

Ashley thinks that Tucker is incapable of redemption. She allowed herself to be open to the possibility that Tucker was sincere in wanting to pursue a personal connection with her.

However, using Devon’s blowup with Tucker as a reason to cut ties and fly to Paris, France, was petty. Ashley has not been married since divorcing Tucker. She built walls around herself to attempt avoid being hurt, reinforcing the belief that St. John’s character remains one of her great loves.

Ashley appears to believe that the only way to stop Tucker is to have power over him. So, she managed to purchase McCall Unlimited’s outstanding debt.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Daniel Romalotti Loves Lily Winters More

Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) was with Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) far longer than he was with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). Daniel and Heather are not married. The are also not known to have been engaged. Term it however one likes, the lack of a legal or religious commitment reflects some level of trepidation in the hearts and minds of both people.

Heather’s reveal about falling in love with a guy she met at work arguably confirms that she and Daniel were not meant to be. While Daniel married Lily when they were both very young, viewers recognize their reconnection taps into latent feelings.

The audience will see if Heather returns to Portugal. But even if she does not, Daniel’s seemingly stronger tie is to Lily, who offers him a trusted shoulder to lean on and is recently single. She may be his true love on Y&R.
