With Victoria, Ashland was a perfect gentleman who was sweet, sensitive, caring, apologetic and romantic. There is a saying that nobody is perfect and if they appear to be, then watch out.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Burgi spoke to Soaps.com about Ashland’s current storyline. The actor explained that like many people, Ashland has two very different sides to him. Burgi actually called Ashland’s darker side – the one he hides from Victoria – as “savage.”

Victoria can be quite brutal and savage herself. However, she is only well-acquainted with the nice side of Ashland. The minute she crosses him or sees his reaction to being crossed by others, Victoria might be singing a different tune. Just how “savage” is Ashland’s dark side? Would it actually make Victoria fearful of the man she married? Could she realize that not only does she have no idea who Ashland really is, but that she married a real-life monster?
