The Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday October 30: Kyle Won’t Accept Theo As Family, Chelsea Spends Halloween with Connor, and Nate Needs Legal Help

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday October 30th indicate that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) refuses to believe he and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) are related, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will spend Halloween with her son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) faces legal trouble.

Chelsea is at Crimson Lights with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Christian Newman (Alex Wilson). The trio are dressed in costume, ready to begin the Halloween festivities. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Johnny Abbott (Holden and Ryan Hare) arrive to join them for the celebration. Victoria says Katie Abbott (Sienna Mercuri) is out with her friends and couldn’t make it.

As the group chats, Chelsea says that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is going to be there any minute with Connor. She then receives a call from Adam, who tells her there’s a problem with Connor’s costume. Chelsea excuses herself, then goes over to Adam’s to check on Connor. After she leaves, Victoria and Nick discuss Connor’s situation. Nick says that Adam is unfit to be a father and hope eventually Connor will come home. Victoria says that Adam’s going to use the situation to manipulate Chelsea.

When Chelsea arrives at Adam’s place, he explains the situation. He says Connor refuses to wear his costume and is worried Adam is trying to get rid of him. When Connor comes downstairs, Chelsea tries to convince him to go trick or treating. Connor says he doesn’t feel like going out, he wants to stay in with Adam and watch a movie. When he asks his mom to stay and watch the movie with them, she agrees and makes a bowl of popcorn.

Back at Crimson Lights, Nick receives Chelsea’s text that she’s staying with Connor and Adam to watch a movie. When Billy sees Nick upset, he advises him not to let Adam mess with his life, but Nick says it isn’t that easy.

At the penthouse, Chelsea, Connor, and Adam watch the movie. After it’s over, Connor falls asleep and Adam totes the boy to his room. As he’s carrying him up the stairs, Adam whispers it’s great with the three of them being together. Nick is back at his house, waiting for Chelsea to come home. He calls her again, but doesn’t receive an answer. Chelsea falls asleep on Adam’s couch. Adam covers her up with a blanket, then checks Chelsea’s phone to see a missed call from Nick.

Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) is at home with Kyle. She’s trying to cheer him up since he’s upset at the prospect of being related to Theo. Lola suggests they could go to Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) party, but all Kyle wants to do is talk about Theo. He calls Theo a parasite and says that if he gets wind of the news, he’ll try to worm his way into the Abbott family. Lola defends Theo and Kyle brings up how Theo made their lives miserable by messing with them. Lola says Theo was afraid of losing Kyle’s friendship, and that he should get over it. Kyle says he needs to talk to his dad about the situation.

Kyle arrives at the Abbott mansion to talk to his father. Jack says that he talked with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and they decided they want to get to know Theo. Kyle says Theo is not somebody they want as part of the family. Jack says that Theo may very well be a member of their family. Kyle tries to get through to his dad by saying Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) didn’t want this secret out, but Jack says the people she kept the secret from are dead.

Theo arrives as Kyle once again pleads Jack not to continue with his plan. Jack refuses to change his mind and Kyle leaves. Theo wants to know what’s going on, and Jack asks if the name Stuart Brooks (Robert Colbert) means anything. Theo doesn’t recall the name and asks why it’s important. Jack explains the situation to Theo, who’s stunned to learn he may be related to the Abbotts.

Jack asks if Theo’s willing to take a DNA test and he says yes. Jack starts talking about Eric and how he wished he had the chance to meet him. Theo says that Jack and Eric would’ve gotten along. Theo talks about Dina giving up her baby because she didn’t want to feel ashamed. Theo then brings up how Kyle’s handling the news, and Jack says it’s a lot to take in.

Lola arrives at Crimson Lights and chats with Billy and Victoria. When Billy inquires about Kyle’s whereabouts, Lola says he and Jack had to discuss an important matter. Later Victoria and Billy are enjoying some alone time on the patio, and he excuses himself to call the nanny. When Nate comes in, Victoria chats with him and brings up his break up with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). Nate tells Victoria about the possibility of losing his medical license, and it’s all because of her family.

Victoria says she’s sorry and offers to pay his legal expenses, but he refuses. He says he needs to convince the board he wasn’t coerced. Victoria says if he needs anything, she’ll help in any way she can. After Nate leaves, Billy returns as Victoria complains about Adam. Later the two book a room at the Grand Phoenix, and Victoria once again brings up Adam ruining Nick’s night.

Later Kyle arrives at Crimson Lights and sits alone on the patio. Theo arrives and calls Kyle “cuz.” Theo is excited about the prospect of them being cousins and says they’ve always had a bond. Kyle say even if they are related, he’s done with Theo’s crap. Theo realizes their dinner the other night wasn’t to patch things up, but to dig up information on Eric. Theo calls Jack his uncle and says that the two will get along great. An angry Kyle then leaves the coffee house.

Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) is at the Grand Phoenix when she runs into Nate. She tells him she’s finally headed home, but Nate says he needs her help regarding a legal matter. He explains that there’s an inquiry on him from the state medical licensing board. Amanda realizes this has to do with the situation with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). She asks Nate about his relationship with Victor and why he went along with the fake death.

Nate says he went along willingly with the plan and in the process compromised his morals. He then asks if Amanda could represent him, but she refuses. She explains the reason is because Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) doesn’t want her staying in Genoa City. Nate asks Amanda to reconsider. He says she’s a good lawyer and he’s afraid of losing his license. After listening to him, Amanda agrees to help.
