The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor’s (River and Rainn Ware) has to go through more testing on his bone marrow. So, it sounds as if Dominic will need a bone marrow transplant, which could reveal that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) isn’t the baby’s real father. So, if Devon isn’t the bio dad, then who is?
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Terrifying News From Doctor
Y&R spoilers reveal that the Tuesday, February 8 episode showed Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) getting a call back from the pediatrician. Dominic’s red blood cell count is extremely low. The doctor said the baby needed to go for more testing as soon as possible.
Y&R Spoilers – Bone Marrow Tests
The word “bone marrow” was mentioned, so it sounds as if that will be what’s wrong with the baby. Dominic might even need a bone marrow transplant. Of course, Abby and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) are terrified for their son. Devon is also scared and just wants the little boy he helped create to be okay.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Not A Match
The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that bone marrow transplants require a match. It can be a grueling process as not everyone is a match, even family. However, the best chance of finding a match is by testing the parents and full-blooded siblings of the patient.
Not only could Devon get tested to see if he’s a match, but there are also blood tests. Those tests could confirm that Devon isn’t Dominic’s biological father. Spoilers suggest Devon will get the devastating news later this week.
The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Who’s the Real Daddy?
There are a few possibilities as to what happened. Perhaps there was a mix-up with the sperm donation. Abby thought Devon’s sperm was being implanted into Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Mix-ups like these happen all the time in soaps, so that’s a strong possibility.
There is also reason to believe that Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) was involved. Even though fans say that “Stitch” wasn’t in Genoa City when Mariah was impregnated, nobody knows that for sure.

Y&R Spoilers – Fixing Storyline
One other possibility is that Chance is Dominic’s real father. Sure, Chance was out of town at the time. However, his samples were sent to the lab – probably the same lab – that Devon’s was at. Someone at the lab could have mistakenly assumed that Chance’s sperm was to be implanted. Now, Chance did have a low sperm count. However, people get pregnant all the time despite the man having a low sperm count.
A big emphasis has been placed on Devon and Dominic’s paternal bond. It’s something Chance is struggling with. This could all be resolved if Chance finds out he is the child’s biological father, though.
