Young And The Restless News: Daniel Goddard Teases Christel Khalil’s Possible Return

Many viewers were saddened when Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) broke up after the former’s portrayer, Christel Khalil, went off contract with “The Young and the Restless.” However, it seems like fans have something to feel excited about when Goddard teased his on-screen partner’s return.
In a video, which he uploaded on Instagram, Goddard asked his followers if they wanted to see something cool. He then turned the camera to the placard containing his name, indicating his parking spot in the studio. He then said, “That’s me.”
But that’s not the end of it. Goddard then added, “but that’s not the cool part. You wanna see the cool part? Here’s the cool part.”
Young And The Restless News – Fans React To Khalil’s Possible Return
Once again, he moved the phone’s camera away from his face and to another placard with Khalil’s name on it and said, “That’s the cool part.” The show nor the actress has not made any confirmation about her return so viewers have to stay tuned to find out.
As expected fans were quick to react to Goddard’s video. In less than an hour, nearly 300 comments were made and about 5,000 people liked his post.
One “The Young and the Restless” fan said, “Now this is a great way to start our week!!!!” while another one chimed in and said, “So cool… want you guys back together. Your family dynamic is missing.” Another one wrote, “Yes! I hope this means that Cane and Lily are getting back together! #fingerscrossed.”
Young And The Restless News – Decided To Drop To Recurring Status In 2018
Khalil joined the cast of “The Young and the Restless” back in 2002 and she instantly became a fan favorite. After three years, she left the show and her role was recast. In 2006, Khalil returned and then announced that her decision to drop off-contract to recurring status in 2018.
Khalil informed her fans about her decision and said: “I wanted you to be the first to know that if you see less of me on Y&R, it’s because I have decided to switch from full-time to recurring status.” She added that she have had “16 amazing years of playing Lily” and that she’s not leaving the show but “just ready to explore new things. I will continue to be a proud member of the Y&R family and look forward to further adventures playing Lily. Thank you for all the love and support over the years!”

Yes l would like lily to return.l would like lily to return even if it’s just to tell Cane shes moved on with a new man .Get rid of Summer and Theo bring back lily even if it’s just a few times .Bring back stitch get rid of Adam there was only 1 adam and that was Justin Heartley who played Adam.And do not pair Cane with Traci she can do better. And sharon needs to give her head a shake she likes to play the victim why is she attracted to bad Adam and boring Rey now they r going to pair Sharon with Jack again? Unbelievable

Well… Christel left so she could go shack up with her boyfriend in Canada. She left her career for a man! And she was taking her son away from his Dad when she moved to Canada. So, either she’s no longer “in bliss” with her Canadian boyfriend, or, her child’s Dad prevailed in court, and she needs to live within 40 miles so he can be a Dad to his son… Either way, she’s back in Southern California and needs a job and can’t get an acting job anywhere else… I didn’t like the Ashby’s being blown apart, because with Neil gone, we need them. I’ll be happy to see Lily return, but not their kids.
I personally don’t care about an actor’s personal life unless they are racist , peodphiles or murders then I will not endorse them or their careers.
I don’t know why the actors playing Lilly or Cane would want to return at the moment other than for money. Their stories before they left were boring garbage and these new writers are worse than before so I don’t see them coming back to anything better.
