Young And The Restless News: Max Shippee Gets A New Job

Max Shippee, popularly known for his portrayal of Graham Bloodworth on the Young and the Restless, has booked a co-starring role in a new indie film.

Not much information is available about the film yet, but Becoming A Hero tells the story of a children’s book author who’s having writer’s block and has a boy battling deadly cancer. “Together they face the next chapter,” the tagline reads.

According to Soap Opera News, the film’s cast also include Cheryl Schaberg, Andersen Esson and Ashley Bright.

Max Shippee joined the Young and the Restless in May 2017, and Graham Bloodworth was introduced as Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) trusted associate. However, he had a hidden motive for being in a relationship with Dina, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. Graham started to become present in every aspect of Dina’s life, which made Jack and Ashley suspicious about his intentions toward their mother.

Young And The Restless – Graham Married Dina And Took Her Away

Later on, Ashley discovered Graham’s past in Genoa City. He even tried to take Dina away from the Abbotts, claiming that he had the right because they were married. Ashley and Jack were able to bring Dina back to Genoa City and Graham was last seen in October 2017. But he made a comeback in January 2018, bringing more trouble to the canvas.

It turned out that he was seeking revenge for his mother, Myrna Bloodworth, against Dina for something she did in the past. He planned to kill Dina using a toxic chemical he stole from Jabot and then frame Ashley for the murder. But Dina stabbed him with the needle. The doctor said Graham would never recover, so Dina gave the consent to pull his life support on January 18.

Shippee has also appeared in other prime-time series, including Major Crimes (2016), Rosewood (2015), Hot in Cleveland (2012) and Nip / Tuck (2008). He was born in Maine, and has been married to Alice since 2005. They have three children.
