How many times has Billy let Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) down? Too many to count would be a fair answer to give newer viewers.

Billy recently decided to walkway from the family he and Vickie worked hard to reform. That result happened because of the mental health issues he has been unable to defeat since Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) returned to town, which served to scrape Billy’s emotional wounds.

Vickie was outraged that the man she carefully considered as a renewed soul mate had once again violated her trust and that of their children. Yes, the infamous Billy-boy persona reemerged.

Y&R Spoilers – Amanda Sinclair Escapes Boyfriend’s Rage

A stunning sequence of events took place at Newman Enterprises Fiftieth Anniversary celebration. Y&R’s excellently written story had Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes) mistake Vickie for Amanda, as both were dressed similarly.

The stab wound Vickie suffered didn’t kill her, as Ripley’s jab intended. However, she needed emergency surgery to repair the extensive damage that was viciously inflicted.

The above shook Amanda, as Ripley remained at large. Billy felt compelled to check on the new woman that he is falling in love with at the Grand Phoenix hotel. She was initially defensive but soon came to welcome the kindness that countered Ripley’s spin-out.

The Young and the Restless Spoilers – Future Projects Unevenly

At first blush, Billy and Amanda seem like an ill-advised match. They’ve been drawn to each other based on very different rebound scenarios, meaning that they were running away from a romance gone bad, rather than moving toward love.

But this paring does have chemistry. Bamanda also gives the viewers a fresh duo they haven’t seen before. So, at least for the short-term, Billy and Amanda’s connection should be good.
