Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cane’s Marriage A Mess – Lily Divorce Looms

On the Young and The Restless, Cane Ashby finds a letter from his wife Lilly Winters and realizes that their marriage could be in serious trouble. Cane has a lot on his shoulder lately with his wife being moved to a farther prison, raising his kids, and the kiss with Victoria Newman.

Cane and Lily have struggled to connect after she was sent to a prison farther away from their home on Young and the Restless. He is unable to get in touch with her over the phone and Lily has also declined to see him and their children, all of which were part of Christel Khalil’s plan to give her character less screen time on the soap.

Lily has been avoiding her husband and kids because she believes that is the best way for her to survive the time she needs to spend in prison. She has a lot of things to tell Cane, but since she cannot do this in person she opted to write him a letter instead. She hopes her letter will make Cane better understand their situation, but it only made him realize that his marriage with her is a mess.

Jill finds Cane at the Ashby house lost in his thoughts. Jill urges Cane to tell her what is bothering him, and he confesses about kissing another woman. Cane refused to reveal who the woman was and simply told Jill that she is the last woman he’d want to be with.

Cane is consumed with anger and guilt and says he will tell Lily everything. Cane denies that the kiss meant something to him but Jill believes otherwise. She advises him to keep the kiss a secret and to stay away from the woman she kissed. She explains that telling Lily the truth will do more harm than good and what he needs to do is support and be with his wife.
