Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Claire Grace (Hayley Erin) will have a very challenging time easing into her life as a Newman.

While mom Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be eager to make up for lost time, the other members of the family might not be so ready to clear the slate.

Y&R spoilers for the week of December 4th suggest that Vicky will have a tough decision in the days ahead where Claire is concerned.

Once she finds out that Ms. Grace is really Baby Eve Nicole Howard, Victoria will do all she can to help the young woman with her legal woes. After all, Vic was quick to point out that Claire wasn’t the mastermind behind the entire lake house scheme.

Y&R’s Headwriter Josh Griffith recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) about this intriguing storyline.

He notes that the truth about Claire will create a major conflict between Vicky, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Y&R Spoilers – Claire Grace As A Long Road Ahead

While Ms. Grace did end up playing a huge role in saving the Newmans and Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck), she was also a big reason why they landed in the lake house to begin with. It looks as if Nikki will have a hard time getting back on the wagon in the aftermath of this kidnapping.

As Claire pumped her grandmother up with vodka, Nikki and the Moustache will have a difficult time allowing Ms. Grace to get away with her crimes committed. Let’s not forget, Claire didn’t only kidnap Nikki, force feed her alcohol, but she also manipulated her for months as her “assistant”.

As she was brainwashed by Aunt Jordan (Colleen Zenk) all her life, Nikki and Victor will eventually forgive their newfound granddaughter of all past sins; however, it may be a long road ahead for Claire, before this happens.
