Young and the Restless Spoilers: Monday, November 18 – Nick Ends His Political Run – Phyllis Worries Chance – Victoria Ignores Concerns About Billy

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, November 18, tease that Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will chat with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) at The Grand Phoenix. He’ll say that they’re wrapping up the police investigation and should have a report for her insurance company shortly, but Abby will rant about losing guests. She’ll blame Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for the whole mess, but Rey will say that Phyllis helped the investigation.

Rey will go on to say that Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) was one step ahead of everyone, but Abby will want his help getting Phyllis out of the hotel for good. Rey won’t be able to help, but he’ll note that Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) texted him wanting to know if she was ok. Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will then arrive, and Rey will suggest that Abby direct her tech questions to him.

Kevin will be looking for Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), and Abby will find it suspicious. Abby will wonder if Kevin knew about the situation with Simon, and Kevin will lie and say that he didn’t. As he walks out, Phyllis will stop him and want to know about the connection between Chance, Chelsea, and Simon. Kevin will say to ask Chelsea, and they’ll bicker for a bit. Kevin will point out that all Phyllis want is to take back ownership of The Grand Phoenix.

Later, Phyllis will confront Abby about snooping around in the security system. Abby will say that she just wants to look to see what they could have done better, and that the security system is a good place to start to see what Phyllis is really up to. Phyllis will then blame Chelsea for what happened.

Next on Y&R, at Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse, Phyllis will irritate Adam and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). She’ll pour herself some wine and say that she just has a couple questions. She’ll go on about “threats from within,” which will interest Chance. Phyllis will ask him if Chelsea is a liability, and if there might be more to the story that Chance could convey, but he’ll refuse.

Phyllis will then turn to having seen Chance and Adam together in Las Vegas. She’ll want to know if Chelsea was there and if she met Simon there. Adam will say she should ask Chelsea and that they’re done. After she leaves, Adam will thank Chance for ending things at The Grand Phoenix, and Chance will worry about Phyllis, but Adam will say she knows nothing about Las Vegas.

Chance will say that it wouldn’t be good for them if she finds out what really happened. Adam will say that Phyllis is bluffing, but Chance won’t believe it. Adam will say that he’ll handle Phyllis, and Chance will say that he needs to make sure she doesn’t become “our” problem.

Next on Y&R, at Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will find Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in her office waiting for her. He’ll want to fool around, but she’ll have work to do. Eventually he’ll cajole her into lovemaking, and it seems like they’ll be on the verge of talking about her ongoing concerns about his “dark side,” but she’ll have to get on her conference call. After the call, Billy will think that she handled the call masterfully.

Next on Y&R, at the Newman Ranch, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will chat about the terrible ordeal at The Grand Phoenix. Jack and Nikki will consider the effect of the incident on Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) campaign. They’ll think the news coverage sounds terrible, but Jack will want to ride out the storm. Victor will be more worried about the damage done to Nick, not to the campaign. Jack and Nikki will talk about how Nick should best handle the firestorm.

Next on Y&R, at Nick’s place, a worried Chelsea will listen as Nick deals with a reporter on the phone. He’ll insist to the reporter that he’s continuing on with his campaign, and it will get contentious. Nick will be agitated, and they’ll consider the ramifications of all the questions, which could include jail for Chelsea.

Chelsea will feel terrible about this whole situation, and she’ll want to tell the reporters the whole truth, but Nick will disagree, and he’ll think that it will just reflect on his judgment as far as the press is concerned. Nick will want Chelsea to stop beating herself up, but she’ll feel awful. She’ll beg him not to quit just because she let him down.

Later, Nick will tell Chelsea that he’s made a decision. He’ll call Jack, who will still be with Victor and Nikki. Jack will put Nick on speakerphone, and Nick will tell them to stop strategizing and that he’s made the decision to drop out and that he will put out a statement saying he’s stepping back to focus on his family.
