The unlikely alliance holds on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Victor (Eric Braeden) will continue working together for the good of Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) and the Newman family.
It may also be possible that these stubborn Newman men will remain allies after the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) matter has finally been settled. As fans continue wondering when that climax will happen, the Newman ladies own strong-willed alliance may have been broken by Nikki’s stunning admission.
A very positive development happened when Nikki saw that fireplace poker at the Ranch. She shrieked and then revealed. Nick’s knowledge gain then allowed him to see that Victor was absolutely not J.T.’s killer and also was acting in a noble manner to protect Nikki.
Y&R Spoilers Michael Has A New Storyline
The great Christian Le Blanc (Michael) has thankfully been written back into the plot as more than just Lauren’s (Tracey Bregman) husband and Fen’s (Zach Tinker) dad. Nick’s smart move to force Victor to use Michael as a defense attorney strongly improves the entire Newman family’s odds of making logical headway in a situation that’s increasingly grown chaotic.
Michael walks in: “Hello, Victor.”
Victor: “What the hell are you doing here?”
Nick: “Meet your new lawyer.”
Michael: “Well, same as your old lawyer.”
Victor: “I don’t need a lawyer. I don’t need anyone. So, kindly turn around and remove yourself from these premises.”#YR pic.twitter.com/hUqZdj34Uf

Young and The Restless Spoilers The Cover Up Crew Have Been Messing Up
The problem the ‘Fearsome Foursome’ (Vickie’s phrasing) had was that its members (being Nikki, Vickie, Phyllis, Gina Tognoni, and Sharon, Sharon Case) have been flailing independently since last April. Yes, Mariah (Camryn Grimes) recently became enlightened. While well-intentioned, she doesn’t have the firepower of a Victor Newman to get things done.
Attorney Baldwin’s inclusion allows a defense for all actions taken since mid-April, when J.T. was accidentally killed, to be built. The legal portion of this storyline will prove important, as believable justice must be dolled at its end.
Victor goes to leave, stop, turns and tells Nick: “Call Michael Baldwin and tell him to get on this immediately and until I get out of here, tell your mother not to worry about a damn thing. Help is on the way. I’m proud of you.”#YR #YoungandtheRestless #TheYoungandtheRestless pic.twitter.com/QnzPTj09kI

Nick’s full awareness of the truth must now be passed onto Victor and Michael. The ‘Moustache’ can set his security forces in motion, while Michael strategizes and seeks the protection of his client and by extension, the Newman family.
This unlikely forge may be seen in eventual retrospect as the moment when the Newman family’s fortunes turned. That’s bad news for whoever has been torturing them, with whoever he, she, or more than one as yet unknown person (or people) may be.

Yes. Maybe now the Newman’s will get to be one big happy family. Maybe some of these dumb storylines will end and more new exciting ones will emerge. Been pretty boring lately with the same scenarios going over and over with no results. End the Mea, Rei and Arturo triangle. Stop changing horses in mid stream. Give Abby a bigger storyline. Everything is so obvious. No suspense….
