Young and the Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Goes Off The Deep End, Romance With Nick Doomed

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni) will go off the deep end during the week of January 7. She will make a startling confession about JT (Thad Luckinbill), something that will shock both Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu).

While Victor (Eric Braeden) is currently behind bars for JT’s murder, Phyllis feels like she needs to make sure to shift the blame away from her to someone else, just in case Victor’s charges do not stick. Not only does she have to worry about going to jail for her part in the JT coverup, but she is trying to keep her relationship with Nick from imploding in the process.

Phyllis’ biggest fear is Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) will confess to the murder and implicate her. She could serve jail time, plus lose her CEO chair and Nick in the process. So, the redhead has to act fast and make sure she keeps Nikki from blabbing the truth.

Phyllis Makes A Bold Statement On Young And The Restless

Reed holds a memorial service for his father at Victoria’s (Amelia Heinle) house. Reed wanted the chance to be able to tell GC and his dad how much he loved and misses him. As the service starts, Nikki wants to confess what she did in front of everyone, but Phyllis pumps the breaks on that.

Phyllis says she has something to say about JT. She acknowledged that Hellstrom was handsome and charming, but there as a darker side to him. She drops the bombshell that JT was abusing Victoria. It shocked many who didn’t know in the room, including Nick and Reed.

Reed doesn’t believe the claim and he calls Phyllis a liar. Victoria confirms it is true. Reed loses control and trashes his dad’s photo and bolts out of the house. Nick and Victoria stare at Phyllis angrily. Now, Phyllis will have a mess on her hands with the Newmans.
