Young And The Restless Spoilers: Summer Newman Is Headed To Jail, But Diane Jenkins Saves The Day

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest Summer Newman-Abbott (Alison Lanier) could be headed for more than just heartbreak.

Her hubby Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) dumped her for lying about Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) still being alive, thus allowing his mom to “rot” in jail.

GC’s District attorney and Phyllis’s number one nemesis Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) recently gave Red an ultimatum; plead guilty to charges or she’ll ensure Summer serves jail time for her role in this scheme.

Phyllis seems very adamant that she can not only avoid prison but keep her daughter from suffering any repercussions. But what if she can’t do both … or either?

The Young And The Restless spoilers  – Christine Blair Is Out For Blood

Y&R spoilers for the week of August 7th imply that it’s “do or die” time for Phyllis. She’ll face a judge to seal her fate in the days ahead and as of now, there’s a 50/50 chance that she’ll get off on charges, scot-free.

Christine is out for blood where Phyllis is concerned. Mainly because she feels that Red has a long list of past crimes committed that she never paid for.

This is the land of daytime drama, so it seems very unlikely that either Phyllis or Summer will face any time behind bars for what they did, but at the same time, it’s up the air.

After all, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) once had to go to jail for distracted driving, which caused Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) and her unborn child to pass away. So, anything is possible.

Y&R Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Swings In To Save Summer Newman

Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was the one who was wrongfully charged for Phyllis’s death. Could she stand before a judge and act as a character witness for Summer?

If she lets the judge know that Ms. Newman was stuck between a rock and a hard place and that she forgives her, will the judge and Christine still decide to throw the proverbial book at Summer?

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) may also do the right thing and take the stand on Super Girl’s behalf. While this would piss Kyle off, his parents may feel like it is the “right” thing to do.
