Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday January 30: Phyllis and Chance’s Date, Summer Confesses She Kissed Kyle, and Amanda Helps Billy

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday January 30th indicate that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz), Summer Newman (Hunter King) confesses she kissed Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), and Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) helps Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) out of a jam.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Victoria stays with Nikki
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is at the ranch with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Nikki’s letting Victoria and the kids stay there for the night. Nikki tells Victoria that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be asking a lot of questions. Victoria says it’s hard staying in the house since Billy’s left and isn’t coming back. Nikki believes this is the right decision, but Victoria confesses she still loves Billy and worries that he’s going to get in trouble.
Victor arrives and sees Victoria, and assumes she and Billy are over. Victoria fills him in on what happened, and Victor says she deserves better than Billy. Victor excuses himself to go run an errand. When he returns, he has boxing equipment and convinces Victoria to box. She does a couple of punches, then breaks down crying as Victor comforts her.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Billy’s in a jam
Billy is sitting in his suite at the Grand Phoenix, reflecting on his situation, then asks “what now?”
Later he goes to the dive bar and relishes in having nothing to feel guilty about or anyone to lie to. Billy notices the guys playing poker and tries to join the game, but one of the guys kicks Billy’s chair away. Billy and the other guy get into a fight, and the police are called. Amanda arrives later to help Billy, and when she asks what happened, he says he tested his boundaries. As Billy’s arrested, she agrees to follow him to the station and bail him out.
After bailing him out, Amanda takes Billy back to his suite. He confesses that his marriage to Victoria is over. Amanda suspects the bar fight was a way to punish himself, and he admits he did it to cover the pain of losing his wife and kids. He says moving forward he needs to live his life to the fullest. After listening to Billy, Amanda decides to leave.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Phyllis and Chance’s date
In the lobby of the Grand Phoenix, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) talks with Chance about his upcoming date with Phyllis. When Phyllis comes down, ready for her date, Abby tells Phyllis not to do anything she wouldn’t do.
Phyllis and Chance go to Society, where they sit and joke around. Phyllis says it’s great with the two of them being together without Abby or Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) around. Chance says he hopes she’s not going to start asking for information about Adam. Phyllis says she wants to know all of Chance’s secrets, but that’s not the reason she asked him out. Chance is still skeptical, but then he and Phyllis continue to talk.
When she brings up Vegas, Chance says she’s a determined woman. He then jokes about how in Vegas, he and Adam pigged out on sliders, then saw Wayne Newton. Phyllis is not amused by Chance’s joke, then she receives a text from Summer, and ends her date with Chance. As Phyllis is leaving, he wishes her luck with Summer and her quest to get information about Vegas. Before Phyllis leaves, she passionately kisses Chance.
Chance returns to the hotel, where Abby asks about his date with Phyllis. He explains the date got cut short when Summer needed to talk to Phyllis. He then tells Abby that he’s done talking about Phyllis, which causes Abby to smile.
Young and the Restless Spoilers – Kyle confides in Jack
Kyle is at Jabot with Summer when he receives a text from Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), who has to work later. Kyle and Summer briefly talk about how they want each other to be happy, then she leaves. Kyle stays behind to wait for his father Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). When Jack arrives, he notices Kyle doesn’t seem like himself. He asks if everything’s okay, and Kyle confesses that he thinks he’s screwing up his marriage.
Kyle talks about how he’s not feeling a connection with Lola lately. Jack thinks it’ll eventually pass, then asks if their problems have anything to do with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). Kyle says it goes way beyond Theo, and Jack wants to know what Summer had to say. Kyle mentions how Summer asked if he was happy, and it has Kyle wondering if he made a mistake. Kyle then brings up how he thinks Lola feels the same way. Jack talks about Kyle’s relationship with Summer, and says the two have a love that won’t go away. Jack wishes Kyle luck in figuring out this situation, then as Jack leaves he grimaces.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Summer confesses about her kiss with Kyle
Summer is on the Crimson Lights patio reflecting on her kiss with Kyle. Phyllis arrives at the coffeehouse after receiving Summer’s text. She explains she was on a date, but then made a dramatic exit. Phyllis asks Summer what happened with Kyle. Summer goes into detail about her talk with Kyle about being happy, then their kiss. She also explains that Kyle kissed her back before pulling away.
Phyllis advises Summer on not being Kyle’s second choice, then suggests she just let Kyle and Lola’s marriage implode. Summer says she doesn’t know if she can do that, and says she needs to see where this will take them. Phyllis realizes she’s not getting through to her daughter and agrees to support her. Summer says she doesn’t know what the next step is, but is waiting for the right time to do it.
