Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday December 16: Kyle and Theo Argue, Billy and Amanda Get Closer, and Elena Has Second Thoughts

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday December 17th indicate that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) argue at work, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishel Morgan) talk about friendship, and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) has second thoughts about Amanda.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Kyle and Theo’s argument

Theo is at Jabot pitching his Valentine’s Day campaign ideas to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Summer Newman (Hunter King). They love his ideas, but Jack says it’s important Theo works out a deal with Cersei. Theo says the meeting’s for tomorrow and he’s prepared, however Kyle comes in and informs him he missed the meeting, it was today. Theo apologizes and is confused about how he got the dates wrong. Kyle offers to take care of the deal, but Theo calls up the client and manages to save the deal. Jack and Summer then leave, and Theo confronts Kyle. Theo says he knows the appointment was for tomorrow because he confirmed it with his client. Kyle denies Theo’s claim of sabotage.

In the hallway, Jack and Summer discuss Kyle and Theo working together. Jack says Theo’s job is a way for him to learn the ropes, and he advises Summer to take a step back. Later after Jack and Theo leave, Kyle talks about Theo’s sabotage claims, and Summer replies they need to get out of here.

Summer and Kyle are at the Grand Phoenix talking about today’s events. Kyle realizes that Summer thinks he sabotaged Theo’s meeting. As they continue their chat, Kyle realizes Jack wants Summer to act as his sounding board. Summer says that Kyle didn’t handle thing well with Theo, and he needs to bring out the best in Theo. She then tells Kyle to remain above Theo’s game.

Back at Jabot, Theo tells Jack he’s prepared for the meeting tomorrow. Jack reminds Theo that even though he’s family, he doesn’t get any special treatment at Jabot. Jack wants Theo to succeed, and Theo promises no more screw ups.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Billy and Amanda’s discussion

At home, Billy smiles as Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) gets ready for work. The two are having breakfast when Billy mentions an offer he got for a consulting job. He thinks it’s a good opportunity, although he may have to occasionally travel to Chicago for business trips. He wants to go upstairs with Victoria to celebrate, but she can’t because she has to go to work.

Later Billy meets Amanda at Crimson Lights. They discuss his job, and how Amanda is trying to act tough. Amanda then asks if Billy is looking to have an affair. She says he’s always alone and very flirty with her. Billy denies it, but then jokes maybe Amanda’s the one that wants to sleep with him. Amanda denies it. The two continue to chat and Billy complains about his perfect life, but loves when he and his wife get wild.

Victoria is at Newman Enterprises when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) stops by. Victor talks about retirement and contemplates buying a yacht. Victoria realizes Victor misses being in charge of the company. Victor says he does miss being at the company, but has no plans to return. When Victor asks how she’s doing, Victoria says she loves her job, and she and Billy are happy. Victor says he’s proud of Victoria, and says he’s glad that Billy is being a house husband.

When Victoria arrives home, Billy suggest taking Victoria to Chicago, but she refuses because she feels they’re not where they are now. Billy says he was just teasing, he had no plans to take her to Chicago, yet he seems disappointed by her reaction. When Billy’s alone, he sends Amanda a text about the definition of friendship, she returns a thank you text, and Billy smiles as he reads it.

Young and the Restless Spoilers – Elena’s doubts about Amanda

Elena is at the penthouse with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James). He’s getting ready to leave for a meeting, but before he goes he warns Elena to stay clear of Amanda because there’s no telling what she’s capable of. After Devon leaves, Elena discovers the file on Amanda.

Devon arrives at the Grand Phoenix and runs into Amanda. He mentions filing a lawsuit against her and her career being over since she was part of the will scam. Devon says he’s going to find the answers he’s searching for. Amanda tells Devon she’s not the one responsible for losing his money, he chose to give it away. She informs him she’s staying in Genoa City and has plenty of clients lined up.

Elena meets Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) at Crimson Lights and voices her concerns that she was wrong about Amanda. Nate thinks Elena is becoming obsessed with Amanda. Elena admits she sometimes gets Amanda and Hilary confused. Nate asks about Elena’s suspicions, and why Devon can’t let this go. Elena then reveals to Nate that Amanda has secrets, and she may be dangerous.

Devon arrives home and notices Amanda’s file has been moved. He panics, then leaves the penthouse.
