Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, January 22: Nick Has Doubts About Phyllis – Cane Attacks Billy – Kerry Lies To Jack

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 22, 2019, reveals Michael (Christina LeBlanc) runs into Nick (Joshua Morrow) at Crimson Lights; Sharon (Sharon Case) leaves them to talk but Michael is listening to the song that Fen (Zach Tinker) made.

Nick is surprised at how happy Michael is, considering his concern not too long ago. Cane (Daniel Goddard) learns from the kids that it is senior ditch day and tells them to enjoy it, not revealing what is going on between him and Lily (Christel Khalil); as soon as they leave he calls Jabot determined to track down Billy (Jason Thompson).

Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) really likes the cologne “Jack of Hearts” Kerry (Alice Hunter) has created. Kerry admits things are going well with Jack (Peter Bergman), but it is all new for her being in a relationship that is so free and easy. Phyllis says that Jack is a gentleman who doesn’t talk about his exes as Phyllis is with her exes, until she sees something on the computer and demands to see Billy immediately.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Rey And Mia Plan Wedding Ceremony

Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) wants to go to London to see a soccer game, but Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) says their vow renewal ceremony is much more exciting; neither of them want to wait any longer than they can so Rey offers to help any way he can. Mia is appreciative of him being so supportive, but he wonders why she wants to renew their vows right now? Meanwhile, Sharon listens in as Michael promises to see Nick after his appointments so they can talk strategy for Victor (Eric Braeden). He says getting his dad out of this jam is priority number one, then they will figure out who is framing Victor next.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Billy’s Busted By Phyllis

Phyllis reveals to Kerry that Billy took the company jet on a joyride yesterday. Phyllis feels she needs to make sure he remembers she is the one in charge as Kerry wonders what happened since they worked so well on the Barlow account. She needs Billy to understand that acting out like this is unacceptable.

Jack calls Kerry, inviting her for lunch, which she turns down saying she is swamped at work. Billy walks down the stairs and Jack lies, saying he can’t help her there. Jack questions Billy, who says he was with a friend who got some rather bad news; but won’t divulge anything else.

Mia massages Rey, saying she came from Miami in hopes of them moving forward; but had no idea how he’d react to her being back. They apologize to each other as Mia says it feels like they are on solid ground and that is why she wants to say, “I do” again. Rey is shocked that Mia doesn’t want a small ceremony and learns she wasn’t too happy with their first wedding, but now that they have weathered some storms she thinks they should have a real celebration.

Sharon talks to Nick about the interview he did, saying he did give the GCPD a fair warning for all the lies and misleading information; Sharon defends Rey, telling Nick that he truly believes Victor is guilty. Sharon doesn’t think Victor killed JT (Thad Luckinbill) and has voiced her opinion to Rey, but they have agreed to disagree. Sharon reveals to Nick that Phyllis is the one running around telling anyone who will listen that Victor is guilty. Nick says Phyllis has her own reasons for feeling the way she does but Sharon has never met someone so skilled at justifying their own bad behavior.

Billy arrives at Phyllis’ office, where he reveals he needed to get somewhere fast and the jet was the only option. He simply tells her it was a personal matter, offering to pay for it. She feels he was undermining her but Billy says he wouldn’t have to go anywhere if she didn’t shoot her mouth off to Victoria (Amelia Heinle), causing a chain of toxic events. She tells him if he pulls another stunt like this, he might not be an employee anymore.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Jack Visits Nick

Jack visits Dark Horse, as Nick says they are all relieved that Victor is home; but it is far from over. Jack is sure the list of suspects is long as Nick says Kevin Fisher’s name crossed his mind; both feeling it would explain why he didn’t call Michael. The list also includes Chelsea, Luca, Ian Ward… to name a few, possibly even JT being alive. Nick admits that Jack’s name occurred to him too but Jack vows he has nothing to do with it. When asked, Jack says they should add Phyllis’ name to the list since she hates Victor and has the ability to set him up.

Rey and Mia continue to plan their second wedding, as she promises she knows how to make things work. Since they are in Genoa City, she is happy with immediate family and the friends they have made, minus the Newmans. Rey feels that is manageable, now they just need to find a nice place to have the ceremony and celebration after. Rey offers to get a priest to officiate this time and Mia wants a wedding party, including Arturo (Jason Canela) standing up for Rey; but he doesn’t think that is the best idea. She presses the issue, saying it is important for the family and to show how far along they have come in the healing process. Rey promises to make it a point of asking him as Mia feels like celebrating, so Rey says he will go downstairs and get a coffee while she gets ready.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Nick Begins To Have Doubts About Phyllis

Nick stops Jack, who is happy Nick didn’t throw him out for suggesting Phyllis, but Nick admits he thought of her too because of the Marco thing. Jack reminds him that after what Victor did to them, it isn’t a surprise to anyone that she would like to see Victor go to prison for any crime. Nick finds it hard to believe Phyllis would pin a murder on his dad as Jack asks him whether he believes it or not?

Michael is dancing away to Fen’s song when Phyllis comes home and catches him. He is so proud of Fen, but reveals to Phyllis that he is there to meet with Nick. Michael says Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) is quite happy now that Phyllis has taken over the reigns at Jabot. When she asks him about his case, he says the evidence against Victor is very flimsy; she believes Victor won’t get a fair trial in Genoa City as he royally screwed himself threatening JT on TV. Michael is not concerned, revealing he doesn’t believe this is a winner for the GCPD and his goal is to get them to drop all charges. He knows this doesn’t make Phyllis happy.

Billy is having a drink when there is pounding at his front door; when he goes to answer it Cane punches him right in the face.

Phyllis loves Fen’s song, saying it is totally an “ear worm” as Nick walks in. Michael is content in basking in his son’s success as Phyllis opens a bottle of wine. Michael wants to know if they have worked on any strategies and Nick asks Phyllis to give them some privacy. Michael reveals Phyllis is less than thrilled that he plans on getting Victor out of this mess.

Jack orders a lunch order from Sharon, saying he is going to surprise Kerry with a picnic at work; saying Kyle (Michael Mealor) has been giving him some tips. Sharon talks about how cute Kyle and Lola (Sasha Calle) are together. Jack says the new year is looking good for the Abbott men, and has reason to believe things are looking up for Billy too. Sharon noticed how supportive he was of Victoria and hopes they can put their family back together.

Cane demands to know what gave Billy the right to go to the prison that would break her spirit as he is no champion of justice. Cane said he was on his way to confess, but Billy knew that and had to get there first so he couldn’t spin it. Cane reveals Lily won’t talk to him and is now all alone in the prison because of what he said. Cane says this was none of Billy’s business and had no right to get involved.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kerry Lies To Jack

Jack is shocked to learn Kerry isn’t in the office. Jack tells Frank to take care and calls Kerry, who is in the car, but lies to him saying she is in the lab; which he knows isn’t true! Kerry then places a call, saying she is on her way, just running a little late.

Billy tells Cane that once he saw him all over Victoria he wasn’t going to let anything happen as he cares for both women. Cane says Billy is going to hate what he did but Billy feels Victoria was vulnerable. Cane reminds him that it was Victoria that came onto him and Billy couldn’t handle this, doing it out of jealousy. Cane says Billy is just pissed at Victoria because she doesn’t want him back.

Sharon brings the coffee out to Rey, who is still waiting for Mia to come down. He is enjoying his day off as Sharon hasn’t ever seen him so relaxed. He says the pressure is off now that he cracked the JT Hellstrom case. He knows Sharon doesn’t think Victor is guilty but he knows better than to start something nor change her mind. Rey smiles saying things have been better at home as the last time things were that good, he was on his honeymoon with Mia. Sharon says if he is happy, so is she; Mia witnesses the intense moment from the door.

Nick pours himself a drink and sits on the couch, when Phyllis asks to join him. Nick apologizes, hoping she would understand on him asking her to leave. She didn’t love the feeling of being unwelcome in their home, but this is the best way to handle things and focus on things they have in common, like their relationship.

Billy tells Cane his marriage would have a better chance of surviving if he was more concerned with Lily’s needs over his own. Billy only cares about Cane getting out of his face as Cane says Billy is just like Phyllis, neither one of them can stand to see their ex with someone else and throw grenades. Cane believes the warning Phyllis gave Victoria was actually an act of kindness; reminding him that Billy and Phyllis are perfect for each other. Billy calls Lily classy and deserves better than him, and he isn’t sorry. Cane says he may not be sorry, but if his family comes apart because of what he did; he will live to regret it!

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Mia Taunts Sharon

Mia walks into the coffee house as Rey and Sharon both compliment her; as Rey suggests they go to the top of the tower to celebrate. Mia couldn’t wait to flaunt in Sharon’s face that her and Rey are renewing their wedding vows and making it right this time. Mia calls Rey terrific, giving her the wedding of her dreams. She invites Sharon, asking her to come and bring a date. Mia assures Rey it will be happening soon as they are both excited to be doing this.

Nick and Phyllis are about to make love on the couch as Nick can’t help to recall his conversations with Jack, Sharon and Michael about Phyllis being the one setting up Victor.
