Young and the Restless Spoilers: Will Angry Lola Skip Town To Take Care Of Celeste And Get Away From Kyle

Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) hasn’t been seen on ‘The Young and the Restless’ in awhile. But viewers learned that she just had a car accident that impacts Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle).

As Y&R viewers recall, Celeste returned to Miami, Florida, after a few brief stays in Genoa City, Wisconsin. In what appeared to be a write-in of Lola, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), and Arturo Rosales’ (Jason Canela) mother, actually became a recurring role for the former cast member of ‘CSI: Miami’ (Natalia Boa Vista), ‘All My Children’ (Dr. Maria Santos Grey), and ‘Santa Barbara’ (Margot Collins), among the many other entertainment gigs this accomplished actor has held since her career began in 1986.

The broken ankle, that Lola told Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) her mother suffered, will require a period of recovery. Arturo and Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) recently had their first baby. So it stands to reason that Lola would need to take a trip south in order to help her mother.

Summer, who is still in love with Kyle and has aspirations of an eventual reconciliation, initiated a kiss. To his credit, Kyle didn’t enable romance and had an honest discussion with his longtime friend, girlfriend, and brief wife.

The former ‘Skyle’ didn’t cross more than the above line and then decided, upon returning to GC, that they would maintain a secrecy pact. But Kyle and Summer didn’t know Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) was lurking outside the Chief Executive Officer’s office and overheard their heartfelt discussion.

Kyle is sporadically unhinged when Theo is near him. So, if Lola feels the need to travel to Miami to be with her mother there’s no telling what Kyle will do while he’s on his own.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) was recently recruited by Summer, of all people, to keep an eye on Kyle. Summer was already concerned about Theo’s persistent tormenting of Mealor’s character. Thankfully, Mariah agreed to help and then had a direct talk with Theo at Society, although it seemed to have no impact.

Would Theo use Lola’s absence to reveal what he knows about San Francisco? Maybe. Whenever it happens, Theo’s mile-high chip on his shoulder will coerce some form of mean-spirited, personal attack and with that would likely be followed by Kyle’s reprisal.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lola Abbott Must Stand Strong

Kyle shouldn’t be allowing Theo to get to him. Now, Lola will need to stand strong when she learns about the kiss. If Calle’s character is willing to overlook that debatable indiscretion, then ‘Kola’ will survive.

Lola can’t be expected to simply shrug off what happened, as that wouldn’t reflect real life. It also wouldn’t further drama, which is what this classic soap has always thrived on delivering to the audience.
