The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that with Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) gone, Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) worries about her future. There’s no going back, and Chance wants a divorce-should she hire a lawyer, and who should she hire?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Will Custody Be An Issue?

One thing Abby worries about is if custody will be an issue, in regards to Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware). Maybe they should just include a name change and drop the Chancellor if Chance doesn’t want to be in the baby’s life. He had a difficult time bonding with Dominic when he first came home from his months-long mission in Spain, and things seemed to never return to normal.

Somehow, Abby seemed to have lost Chance, or Chance seems to have lost himself, or at least who Abby thought he was. As for Chance, he now feels they were a mismatch all along.

Y & R Spoilers – Who Should She Hire?

The Young and the Restless spoilers tease Abby wonders if she should hire an attorney or if she even needs to – and if she does, who it should be. The Newman family lawyer is Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) although Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has used him for an investigator more than a lawyer recently. It seems that Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) might feel a bit in the middle since she and her husband are close to Chance. Michael may indeed be the best choice if it comes down to needing representation in the divorce. Abby hopes that if Chance starts the process he’s not going to use grounds of adultery – that is so ugly for an unexpected mistake she’ll regret till her dying day.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Not Asking For Property

Abby has already decided she’s not asking for much in the divorce, not property, not alimony, and probably not even child support. She hopes to live independently but may move with Dominic into the Abbott mansion, he and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) may have fun playing together when Dom gets a little bigger. There also may be an opportunity after a proper time has passed to move in with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) – he’s offered, but to do so now would be too soon

There is still time to work out all those particulars, but for now Abby is devastated over her shameful mistake. She and Devon still don’t know where all that unexpected passion for each other came from, or even if it’s still there, buried underneath all the pain.
