Could 1923 Make A Major Dutton Family Revelation?

1923 spoilers, news, and updates tease that the spin-off of Yellowstone could reveal more about the Dutton family. 1923 is a spin-off of the drama series Yellowstone. It is also a sequel to the series 1883. The main series, Yellowstone, is starred by Kevin Costner, Luke Grimes, Wes, Bentley, Gil Birmingham, and Kelly Reilly, among others.

And now, avid watchers are curious who exactly is the grandfather of John Dutton III, played by Kevin Costner in Yellowstone. In a recent episode of the spinoff, John Dutton Sr. was killed off and fans expect that his son would be John Dutton III’s father. But which one?

1923  – Fan theories About The Dutton Family Tree

Some fans, including the series star Julia Shlaepfer, have some theories about the events that are currently unfolding in the spinoff/prequel. They expect, in theory, that Jack Dutton (played by Darren Mann) would be John II’s (played by Dabney Coleman) father. Jack Dutton is also John Dutton Jr.

Continuity is really a thing for the Dutton family. Fans also think that 1923’s Spencer Dutton (played by Brandon Sklenar) would be the father of John II, with his fiancée Alexandra (played by Julia Schlaepfer).

1923  – Cast Joins The Prediction

It seems like the showrunners don’t reveal anything to the stars just yet, which makes the revelations more surprising.

Schalepfer said that even other casts debate on how would the Dutton family tree make sense. They even tried to ask Taylor Sheridan, the co-creator of the show, to reveal it to them. Sklenar confirmed that Sheridan has not revealed anything to them yet and that he also has his own theories.

New 1923 episodes air every Sunday, and the current season has three more episodes to be aired.

The whole story revolves around the Dutton family, who own the largest ranch in Montana. The ranch is called Yellowstone Dutton Ranch or “Yellowstone,” hence the title of the series.

While Yellowstone is set in the present time, 1923 and 1883 are set to their respective titles. It also follows the earlier generations of Duttons, and is still also set in Montana.
