Criminal Minds Evolution Season 2 Premiere Date Revealed

Criminal Minds fans have something to celebrate this week.  Paramount+ has confirmed the wildly popular spinoff, Criminal Minds Evolution will be back with all new episodes before we know it.  Prentiss, JJ, Garcia & Co will be back in action on the streaming giant this spring.  Here’s everything we know so far, Criminal Minds spoilers ahead.

Criminal Minds Evolution debuted on the Paramount streaming giant in early 2022.  The spinoff followed the original series, which ended on CBS in 2020.  Unlike a lot of today’s spinoffs and reboots, Evolution (also referred to as Criminal Minds Season 16) featured a lot of the original cast members, which is why critics believe it did so well for a reboot.

Criminal Minds – New Episodes Coming Soon!

Fan faves Joe Mantegna, AJ Cook, Paget Brewster, and Kristen Vangsness all returned as members of the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit.

According to Criminal Minds Evolution spoilers, all new episodes will begin streaming on Paramount + on Thursday June 6, 2024.  If you haven’t caught up on season one, now is the time to do so!

Criminal Minds spoilers from TV Line tease, “The new season picks up as the team investigates the deadly mystery of Gold Star. As the conspiracy unfolds, the BAU will be met with an unexpected complication when Elias Voit negotiates a deal that transfers him to federal custody in the BAU’s own backyard. The team in turn “faces its biggest threat yet and cannot emerge unscathed from the mind-bending consequences.”

Criminal Minds – Felicity Huffman Joins Criminal Minds Spinoff

Not only are the BAU cast members we all have grown to love over the years returning, but there are also some big names lined up as guest stars.  Last month it was revealed that Felicity Huffman had joined the Criminal Minds Evolution Season 2 cast.
