General Hospital Alum Bryan Craig Says Goodbye To Cast & Crew Of Grand Hotel, ABC Announces Cancellation

The primetime sudser ‘Grand Hotel’ has been canceled after only one season, Deadline has exclusively reported. Created in the style of the Spanish telenovela, the drama failed to grab the ratings needed for its second season renewal.

‘General Hospital’ alum (former Morgan Corinthos)) hinted on Instagram recently that ‘Grand Hotel’ may have reached the end of its run. The actor posted a photo of the cast in September complimenting his co-stars and thank fans.

“Please Read—-Here’s the whole @grandhotelabc team. It’s not often you get a group or cast this large from all different walks of life that are equally talented as they are good people. We all got along, we all put our best work forward to give the audience the most truthful, exciting show we could deliver. I’ll go ahead and speak for the whole team to say, we think we executed that. Thank you”

Just a few days ago the former ‘General Hospital’ star hinted again that ‘Grand Hotel’ was canceled. Sharing a short clip from the primetime sudser, Bryan wrote, “Miss Javi already.”

During TCA in August Karey Burke, ABC’s President of Entertainment hinted that the disappointing ratings for ‘Grand Hotel’ may lead to it being removed from the network’s primetime lineup.

“We’re going to wait until the end of its run. It’s a show we like a lot,” she said at the time. “It’s a show that I wish the ratings were a bit stronger but we’ll make that decision after its run,” she said.

Sanchez served as a producer of the nighttime soap as well.

Executive produced by Eva Longoria of (former Isabella Braña, ‘The Young and the Restless), written by Brian Tannen, ‘Grand Hotel’ told the story of the family hotel business, its staff and the explosive secrets that hide just beneath the perfect exterior.

What’s next for Bryan Craig? Is a return to ‘General Hospital’ possible? The actor is currently filming ‘Women Is Losers’ due out in 2020. He has completed filming for ‘Fighter,’ and has a television series, ‘Revenge Wars’ in pre-production.
