Is Michael Weatherly Coming Back To NCIS?

According to the latest edition of The National Enquirer, Michael Weatherly is being described as pesky as he is apparently playing hardball with the executives of the show about his comeback.

Yet, one source close to the situation says that unless he pulls back on his demands, he may wind up striking out, which is something he most likely doesn’t want and his long-time fans certainly don’t want, either.

As many fans can recall, Michael left his role as Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo back in 2016. He’s also been teasing a return on social media since his last show, Bull, wrapped up filming last year.

What’s more, it seems like the execs are also none too pleased that Michael also wants Cote de Pablo to return to the show, who played his love interest Ziva David. He also wants his television dad, Robert Wagner, to return to the show as well.

One source close to the situation even put it this way, “Michael loves to stir tings up and get fans excited about his comeback, but he’s doing himself no favors by being so demanding. The bosses are tearing their hair out over his terms.”

Michael Weatherly – Wants His Former Co-Stars To Return To The Show As Well

Now, whether or not Michael does return and if he manages to get his former co-stars to come back as well remains to be seen. But for now it seems like the executive producers at NCIS are not willing to play the same kind of games that he is playing. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.

Would like to see Michael back as well as the others mentioned as they both a continuation of Michael’s character and could add to his story line. Plus, things never quite ended as far as he and Cote were concerned. It would be nice to have the issues between the wrapped up even if it meant the two did not reunite as a family before the series ended. Yes, viewers did get a kinda sorta ending the last time around but the situation was left open. RW did bring interest to canvas and would be nice to see him if MW did return, but, if it had to be one or the other, I feel viewers would rather see Cote.

I worked with Michael on Bull as background actor 3 times. He told he liked being on the east coast because it is where he grew up. I really believe he wud move his family and his wife’s career and do that again. Maybe he should set up a new branch of NCIS like maybe Groton Ct which is also a naval base. He cud be the boss. Then if he is in CT maybe I cud get a recurring role on the show. It’s only a 2hour drive for me!
