NCIS: Hawai’i spoilers and updates tease “No Tomorrow” star Tori Anderson is joining the cast of CBS’ NCIS: Hawai’i. Also known for her roles in “Killjoys” and “Blindspot), Anderson is set to play the series regular character Kate Whistler. She’s an ambitious agent of the Defence Intelligence Agency who wants to climb the professional ladder. She’s good at her job and knows how to play politics in order to get ahead.

NCIS: Hawai’i Spoilers -Talan Joins Cast

Aside from Anderson, Kian Talan will also join the show as Agent Tennant’s oldest child, Alex. The 16-year-old teen is described as “strong-willed and mature beyond his years.” Alex struggles to cope with the changes associated with his parent’s divorce. Deep inside, he’s a good boy, but he tends to make bad choices. Talan’s acting credits include Netflix’s “Brainchild” and “Cicada.”

NCIS: Hawai’i Spoilers – Gets First Female Special Agent In Charge

Agent Jane Tennet, NCIS’s first female SAC, will be portrayed by Vanessa Lachey. It is the first NCIS installment with a female leading a team. Tennant is a single mother who juggles her work as the leader of the NCIS team and personal life as a mother with two kids. Her acting credits include “Disaster Movie,” “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,” and “Call Me Kat.”

The other cast members are Yasmine Al-Bustami as Lucy and Jason Antoon as Ernie. Lucy is Tennant’s junior team member while Ernie is her cyber intelligence specialist. Lucy is described as “eager to be the first one to find that key piece of evidence, create a workaround in the bureaucracy, or tackle a suspect down a flight of stairs.” Meanwhile, Ernie is described as a “polyglot with a keen mind for technology, history, literature and all things Hawaiian.”

Antoon is known for his roles in “Minority Report,” “Law and Order,” “Modern Family,” “Shameless,” and “Claws.” Noah Mills is also part of the cast and he plays the role of Jesse, “former big-city homicide detective who’s settled in a new life in Hawai’i”. He’s an “expert interrogator” and a “devoted family man.”

“NCIS: Hawai’i” is created and produced by Christopher Silber, Jash Nash, and Matt Bosack. Silber and Nash are the executive producer and showrunner of “NCIS: New Orleans” while Boscak is the writer and producer of “Seal Team.” Larry Teng will direct and executive produce the show’s pilot episode. He’s known for His work with “NCIS: LA” where he directed five episodes.

The new show is set in the Aloha State and follows the story of Jane Tennant and her team as they investigate crimes involving national security and military personnel on the island.
