NCIS: Los Angeles Spoilers – CIA Officer Joelle Taylor Is Safe But Now Anna Kolcheck Is In Danger

NCIS: Los Angeles viewers will recall that Callen and the team were able to rescue CIA Officer Joelle Taylor (Elizabeth Bogush), minus a finger and she lost her leg, but she is alive. Special Agent Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) was barely able to get her cut out of a bulletproof vest rigged with explosives before bringing her to safety. She had come to the conclusion that the rigged vest was just a threat and wouldn’t really have exploded by the time he got her to safety, with the vest under a concrete picnic table and benches in a park.

However, they both saw it was one hundred percent for real as it exploded, sending concrete pieces everywhere right after Joelle said it. Callen waited outside the operating room where Joelle, his ex-girlfriend was taken, but sadly her leg could not be saved; she had lost too much blood. But, where there is life there is hope, and Joelle survived the operation. Anna, however, who bravely offered herself as bait to Katya Vitkoya (now played by Eve Harlow) in order to free Joelle, is now missing and Callen and the team must double down to find her and bring her out safely! They managed to get her father, Arkady Kolcheck (Vyto Ruginis) to a safe house after finding him hiding in a panic room in his house, but he didn’t like it too well. He’d have rather stayed in his own home, but now he worries about his Anna and they must bring her back to her father intact!

NCIS: Los Angeles Spoilers – Katya Vitkoya Is Not Anna Kolcheck’s Worst Threat

Almost ironically, Callen and Sam find out that Katya is not Anna’s worst threat; she has been kidnapped by a group with ties to Anna’s upbringing. Callen doesn’t care who gets hurt in the process of bringing Anna home safely. Sam advises that he also wants to find Anna, but tells Callen that they have to be smart about this, and not just a bunch of bulls in a china shop hoping to find one teacup! Sam isn’t sure he can even get through to his partner, considering none of them know where Anna is and what is happening to her! It certainly won’t be easy. Anna must be found and retrieved before she is forcibly returned to Russia! Callen is desperate – he tells Sam to check with his street informants if anyone has seen Katya and offers a great deal of money for their information!

As a matter of fact, he offers a quarter million dollars cash, and tells Sam to let him worry about where to find it! They finally might have the right idea by the time they start looking through large shipping containers at port ready to transport. Meanwhile, back at ops, Acting NCIS Director Nell Jones (Reneé Felice Smith) continues to be frustrated as she sits in for an MIA Hetty Lange (Linda Hunt). She expresses her frustration that she is running out of ideas to find Anna to Special Agent Kensi Deeks (Daniella Ruah).

Kensi suggests talking to Arkady, who needs to know Anna is still missing anyway. They may not have old Cold War Russians they can talk to like Hetty could to make a deal but who better to bargain for a woman’s release than her own father! This is in addition to her getting some being-at-the-helm leadership lessons from Admiral Hollace Kilbride (Gerald McRaney) who also has a serious offer for her!
