NCIS: Mark Harmon Reportedly Feels Guilty Over Disagreements With Wife And Co-star

NCIS spoilers and updates tease that Mark Harmon reportedly feels guilty over his feud with former co-star and his problems at home with his wife.

According to OK!, Harmon resigned not because he was tired but because he felt guilty over a lot of things. He reportedly was unable to move past his feud with Pauley Perrette, who used to play the role of Abby Scuito in the show.

Perrette was reportedly removed from the show after Harmon objected to her dog staying on set. According to a source, Perrette was “told to shut up or leave, and Mark has a lot of guilt over that. What went down between him and Pauley has haunted him ever since.”

His wife, Pam Dawber, is allegedly making him feel guilty as well. Dawber, who’s also an actress, is Harmon’s wife for more than 34 years. She left her career to take care of her husband and their family. Dawber reportedly demanded Harmon to make good on his promise to leave the show.

Harmon is enjoying his Montana life but sources say that he still feels guilty over the mistakes he’s made. He hopes that Perrette can forgive him someday.

It’s true that Perrette and Harmon have some unfinished business with one another. Reports say that Perrette implied that she left the show after multiple physical assaults. She felt scared of Harmon and even had nightmares about him.

Fans may recall that Harmon stayed on NCIS for three years after Perrette left. So, it’s safe to say that she had nothing to do with Harmon’s decision to leave the show. Not only that, NCIS showrunner Steve Binder made it clear that the doors are open in case Harmon wants to return to the show.

As for his wife, Dawber is an actress and knows how the industry works. She even guest-starred on several episodes so it’s highly unlikely that the couple is having problems on this front.
