Megan Boone’s Character Missing
The Blacklist season 8 spoilers reveal that Elizabeth is a major star of the series. We don’t expect to see characters in every single episode, especially after so many years. A lot of viewers are asking questions and don’t like loose threads. They like answers, resolutions, and some sort of conclusion. So, if Liz is dead, then fans want to know that. But if she is off somewhere laying low and quietly taking the steps to accomplish her mission, then people want to know that too.
Elizabeth Keen Creates Distance
The Blacklist season 8 spoilers reveal that Elizabeth is angry and wants Raymond Reddington (James Spader) dead. Not only does she want the man dead, but wants to destroy the very idea of his existence. She wants his entire empire gone and all traces of Reddington to evaporate. However, she can’t get many people to side with her on the mission. Due to this factor, the show is creating distance between Elizabeth and the other characters. So, right now she is on her own and is seemingly out there somewhere in the world.

Even though there are concerns that because Elizabeth has been missing for four episodes that the actress could be exiting the series. We don’t think this is what’s happening. In fact, it seems that the star might actually just be taking a break or there could be something going on in the actress’ personal life. Or the writers are taking this opportunity to “rest” a character and put the focus elsewhere.
Series Making A Smart Move
If she were really leaving — or gone already — there would be some kind of mention on social media or an interview. Most likely, Elizabeth will resurface, but the writers are creating mystery and suspense. We are supposed to ask questions, wonder where she is, and speculate on what she is doing. It’s actually a pretty smart move for the show because it keeps people talking. In the near future, we will probably see Elizabeth back on-screen and we’ll find out the status of her mission, as well as everything she has been up to.

It's obvious she's been fired or quit the show; I wish they'd just come out and say it instead of being coy to try and keep people watching.
I’m glad she’s not on. Her character is so annoying now, I like the old Liz better. Seasons 1-3

I miss her. I have years invested in the show and it's not the same without her.

I dislike her so much…back and forth…she didn't even know her mother….she had more of a relationship with Redington…so confused what the show runners are doing

She's working undercover for the FBI and not even Red knows.
The plot with her trying to kill Red is make believe.
It's the only way she can come back to the FBI without losing her job and to avoid prison time.
The Blacklist has been renewed for next season according to online reports.

I'm glad she's gone to, the "I love him, I hate him" back and forth is so trying.
I wish they'd write her out, she is so annoying and unbelievable!!
