Wes Bentley Opens Up About Yellowstone’s Future

Yellowstone spoilers, news, and updates tease that Wes Bentley opened up about the rumors circulating about the future of the show. The actor didn’t divulge that much but he is optimistic about the show’s future.

The actor said that confirming whether Yellowstone will continue or not is “above his pay grade.”

“I know that they’re still working on… working things out with everyone, to make sure we shoot,” he told Entertainment Weekly during the SCAD TV Fest.

Bentley said that he’s confident that the show will be moving forward and added that “it’s probably a bit of drama over nothing.”

Yellowstone Spoilers – Kevin Costner’s Demands

The rumors that the show may not move forward started after Deadline reported about Kevin Costner’s demands on the show. The actor reportedly wants to cut back his filming days to a week for the second part of the fifth season. Costner wants to spend more time starring and directing in his epic film titled Horizon.

The actor is also reportedly asking for $1.2 million per episode of season five and $1.5 million per episode if the show gets renewed for a sixth season. Costner’s demands reportedly resulted in the network and Taylor Sheridan considering ending the show. Not only that, some of the cast and crew were reportedly unhappy with the actor’s attitude on set.

Is there any truth to these claims? Costner’s attorney Marty Singer defended his client and said “The idea that Kevin was only willing to work one week on the second half of Season 5 of Yellowstone is an absolute lie.”

“It’s ridiculous — and anyone suggesting it shouldn’t be believed for one second. As everyone who knows anything about Kevin is well aware, he is incredibly passionate about the show and has always gone way above and beyond to ensure its success,” he added.

Yellowstone Spoilers – Paramount+ Eyes Franchise Starring Matthew McConaughey

Paramount+ is reportedly eyeing a franchise extension of Yellowstone and their planning to make Matthew McConaughey the leading star. It’s still unclear whether the network will proceed with this plan but the new franchise will surely include several big stars.

“Thanks to the brilliant mind of Taylor Sheridan, we are always working on franchise expansions of this incredible world he has built. Matthew McConaughey is a phenomenal talent with whom we’d love to partner,” a Paramount Network said.
