General Hospital’s Benard shared a tweet of Joshua playing the guitar and crooning his version of Elvis Presley’s, “Can Help Falling In Love.” Maurice Benard also shared, “A little birdie told me Joshua Benard is going to be on GH 16th of March.” The last time that Joshua was on the show he was playing a young Sonny. Joshua played the scene where Sonny chose to join the mob. Are we going to get another look into Sonny’s past with Joshua playing his father again or is Joshua playing someone new this time? Perhaps Joshua may play a young Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) or even Sonny’s son that he lost with Claudia Zacchara (ex- Sarah Joy Brown). Could Joshua have even been cast for a new love interest for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali)?

When General Hospital’s Maurice learned that his son Joshua wanted to be an actor, he discouraged it. Maurice has been in the industry for years and knows how hard it can be. However, Joshua convinced his father that he was serious, so Maurice decided to support him. Of course, acting is not Joshua’s only talent, he is a talented musician as well. Joshua truly enjoys acting and working with his father must be a plus. Joshua has proven that he can keep up with the pace of the world of daytime and he is good at what he does. Will Joshua be given a more permanent part on General Hospital?
